Bring your boat because you'll be in the scenic Potato Creek area of Lake Marion, legendary for its fishing and wildlife. Bald eagles and ospreys soaring overhead is an everyday sight as you enjoy fantastic fishing and water sports on Lake Marion. Relax by the lakeside as you grill your catch of the day and watch the sunset as it fades into starlight while gathered around our fire pit. The Santee National Wildlife Refuge is just 1/2 mile by boat and is also easily accessible via car, by bike or hiking trails. Five golf courses and shopping helps keep your vacation options open. For our family birthday party everything was nice and clean when we arrived and we had a good time overall being on the lake with a private boat ramp and enough room for everyone to have their own space to sleep an relax. However there were some repair problems and amenities missing that were advertised along with issues that we felt needed the owners or property managers attention as my family had some complaints during our stay.

The property was perfect for our weekend of fishing down in Santee. Plenty of room for our group of 5 anglers. Had no issues with parking and gear which was great. Good quiet neighborhood with convenient access to ramps throughout Marion Lake. The ramp and dock on the property was well maintained. Property owner/manager answered questions quickly before our arrival. It was very smooth and a worry free stay.

We stayed here for a Valentine’s fisherman’s weekend on Lake Marion, and the outdoor space is truly special. The private dock, quaint sandy beach area, and large backyard make it perfect for fishing, relaxing, and enjoying the lake. It’s a great setup for families and anyone who loves authentic lake living. The home reflects a true rustic lake house experience, with updated stainless steel appliances, an excellent shower, and one of the most comfortable mattresses. Peaceful, spacious, and true to the spirit of the lake. We would definitely check its availability again when visiting the Santee area.

We brought our family of 15. We had ample sleeping space and a comfortable hang out space. The beach and dock, for fishing, provided our grandchildren and adult children with hours of play.We even did a polar plunge! We are hoping we can do this again next year!

Great accommodations for our fishing trip with 2 families and two boats. Nice dock and area for kids to swim but the "beach" could use a refresh of additional sand with some maintenace to remove some broken boards on the beach. The water pump on the dock was not working to clean fish. Host responded indicating he needed to fix it. The A/C was excellent as well as the cleanliness of the house. Plenty of kitchen cooking amenities and refridgerator space. Water pressure was good. Washer and Dryer worked great as well. Definitely would stay here again.

A TRUE Lake House

We had such a good time here--it is a true lake house. There was plenty of parking--8 cars and 16 people. The beach was wonderful for the kids and adults, they could swim on beach or off the dock with no problem. There was plenty of room for 2 boats. The yard was big enough to play volleyball and other outside activities. The closed in porch was perfect. We had 2 dogs and they also loved the yard and porch!! The inside was clean, plenty of beds and room for all. There were 2 refrigerators and that also came in handy! It was a very fun and relaxing time!

Family Vaca

For what matters most we made some of our ABSOLUTE BEST memories here. The kids and grandkids had a blast. We ate well, slept well, and a week of Vaca with NO incidents is a WIN WIN. Upon arrival we noticed the pier needed some attention near the fish cleaning station, the sandy beach area was littered with cigarette butts and misc trash, and fire ants had taken over the board just before stepping on pier. With a nearby rake we fluffed sand and cleaned up trash prior to our family arriving. The faucets in the house bathrooms need some SERIOUS attention. With the size of family this house sleeps and extra trash can is needed. The closed in porch area has standing water in some areas and the interior of it is peeling away around the baseboards. At the end of the day this house served its purpose. It's a lake house. Lots of kids running in and out all day my goal in finding a house is safe and functional. It did that. A DEEP CLEANING would certainly help as well.

FDFC 16th year fishing trip

The property was nice and had enough room for all 12 of us, 3 boats and all of the fishing equipment. Loved the long dock and the location that’s not far from the big water. We would stay here again when we come back to fish Lake Marion.
