Relaxing and fun will describe your stay in this beautiful 2,400 square foot lakehouse. Bring your boat because you'll be in the scenic Potato Creek area of Lake Marion, legendary for its fishing and wildlife. Bald eagles and ospreys soaring overhead is an everyday sight as you enjoy fantastic fishing and water sports on Lake Marion. Relax by the lakeside as you grill your catch of the day and watch the sunset as it fades into starlight while gathered around our fire pit. The Santee National Wildlife Refuge is just 1/2 mile by boat and is also easily accessible via car, by bike or hiking trails. Five golf courses and shopping helps keep your vacation options open. The host was wonderful and very understandable. We had a great time with our family reunion and enjoyed the home very much. What stood out was the number of bedrooms which are hard to find. The boat ramp and dock right in the yard turned out ideal for us to launch our boat and tie up at the dock with a beautiful view!

Dock is a bit dangerous … unsupported section (structural piece missing) … potential for a heavier person to break through.The house was clean but quite dated. The lake facing window treatments did not open properly.

We had a wonderful time. The space was perfect for 9 of us and two dogs. The kids enjoyed fishing off the pier. They caught three large catfish, and several pan fish. We had a fish fry at the end of the week. We made many memories for everyone!

Nice house enjoyed the lake. Grill needed to be rebuilt or replaced the burners are rusted out. The kitchen needs more spoons and forks and some good fry pans but overall a good week

So spacious and great location!

This house is so spacious! There’s plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The view is great, the neighborhood is quiet, and the host is very easy to get in touch with! Really enjoyed my stay, I will be back.

Amazing family time!

Loved this place! It has so much room! There was 33 of us in total, between two properties. We were so glad we could invite everyone to our house for two dinners. We Enjoyed the lake and the spacious home! Everything we needed for our meal prep was already there, we just had to bring the food! We fished, boated, paddle boarded and swam! One tip: bring an extra roll or two of toilet paper if you have as many ppl as we did. Also check-in was simple!

Nicholson Family May 2024 Vacation

Our week vacation was great. This is our 6th or 7th year of renting this house. Lots of room for our family and the sandy beach area is great for our grand children. We enjoy the fishing and boating. Can't wait till next year!

Family vacation at Santee

Great location on lake. Good access to fishing and family boat rides. House very clean and private with fully gated property. Beds slept well and good cooking products to use. If only one negative is pantry storage for big family for a week there is none. Had to leave our storage bins under table for non perishable food but 2 refrigerators was nice touch. Beautiful and quiet location and neighbors seem very friendly. Thanks for the use of you home

Plenty of comfy room

This place is so much bigger than you think from the pictures or even when you first pull up. Most of the windows are selling the front so you can see the water all through out. This is an ideal space for a big group. Mainly because there’s plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. There’s also plenty of stretch out And play games room. We loved it!
