Sullivan's Island 5 Bdrms/4 Baths


Perfectly see suited to accommodate 2 families, with 2 master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, there are 3-4 bedrooms and 2 baths on the ground floor and two bedrooms and 2 baths one floor up. Enjoy ocean breezes from the sundeck or large screened porch with ample seating for your group. The house has two living rooms. The main living room is on the second floor of the house, which offers a large open floor plan with the living room, dining room, as well as the kitchen. This wonderful area opens up to the large screened porch that offers great breezes, and has plenty of seating for large groups. If shade and fans are not what you are looking for, step out onto the sundeck overlooking the large backyard, palm trees, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean.

The home offers 5 Bedrooms (2 master suites), 4 Bath, 1 and 1/2 kitchens, 1 screen porch, 2 decks, 2 outdoor showers with privacy, large grassy backyard, 3rd floor and office blocked off, central A/C, ceiling fans in every room, 4 color TVs, 2 VCRs, 1 DVD, 2 refrigerators, icemaker, 2 microwaves, dishwasher, washer/dryer, Beds: 3 Kings, 1 Queen 4 singles. All linens and beach towels are included in this rental.

We do not have direct access to the beach, but there is a wonderful boardwalk two houses down with easy access to the beach.
Please note that the house has a spiral staircase. You can also access the 2nd floor from the garage or from the 2nd floor deck.
All of the King and Queen bed mattresses are new as of (July 2025)

We loved our stay at this beach house. The host maintained excellent communication, the house was immaculate and everything was in good working order. We particularly liked the set up of the house- the two families with young children each had their own private space. We are looking at dates so we can book again this summer.

Best Vacation House on Sullivans Island

My family had wonderful stay in this beach house. It is spacious, cool, comfortable and had everything we needed for a restful happy week at Sulllivans Island. it is a close walk to the station 26 walkway to the beach and a short golf cart ride to Poe's and Obstinate Daughter.We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to come back.

Destination Goldbug Family Wedding

Our son and dangler in law were married on Saturday at Destination Goldbug, so our immediate family of 7 adults and one toddler stayed at this lovely home. While the bathrooms are dated, the home has a lot of character and is very beachy, cozy. The bedrooms are spacious and outfitted with very nice bed linens with plenty of extra pillows, blankets, towels, etc. The bedroom and bath have plenty of towel hooks/racks and nice closet space. A full length mirror would be a nice addition. The kitchen is amazing! While somewhat small, it still has ample counter space and the 2 ovens and 2 refrigerators (one is downstairs) are wonderful. The kitchen is also very well stocked for entertaining...plenty of dishes, wine glasses, bowls. pots/pans, basically everything. There isn't a pantry but we stored extra food downstairs in the kitchenette. The screened porch was a favorite hang out for breakfast and evenings as it always had a nice breeze. We had our 20 month old grandson which made the spiral staircase somewhat of a challenge but all in all we would definately stay again and recommend it for others. Thank you for having us.

Family Visit for Graduation Week

We found the house to be a perfect fit for our family’s needs. There was plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well equipped with a second refrigerator on the ground floor that we used to hold drinks. The spiral staircase was a very interesting feature, but it did make it a bit difficult for grandparents to get upstairs in the morning. Throughout the rest of the day, they could easily access the main level by the outside stairs that lead to the patio. All in all, we had a wonderful week celebrating our college grad.

Great Family Stay

The property manager, Linda, couldn't have been more accommodating and responsive. We came to Sullivan's Island for a family event and the location and room layout of the house were perfect for our needs. Our 6-year-old granddaughter walked into the upstairs living room and said, "this house is beautiful, and I never want to leave."

Lovely island location and home!

We spent a lovely three days in early November Oceanside at this Charming home. It had everything we needed and the beds were super comfortable which I always appreciate. The only thing missing or bars of soap in the shower. A minor inconvenience. We lucked out on the weather And spent tons of time on the deck and a full day on the beach! We will definitely return to another stay on this beautiful island.

Family reunion for all ages

The house was ideally located just a short walk from the beach entrance, which made beach access very convenient. Although beach towels were provided, we would have appreciated additional beach equipment, such as working umbrellas, to enhance our seaside experience. The property offered ample space, comfortably accommodating our group of 5 adults, 2 children, and a toddler. However, the spiral staircase leading to the first floor posed a safety concern for both our youngest and our 77-year-old grandmother. Despite this, we had a great time in Sullivan’s Island.

The Most Considerate VRBO Host in the History of VRBO

Our stay was impeded on day 2 of our stay at the house due to a hurricane. The owner couldn't have been more communicative or considerate. She refunded the entirety of our rental and communicated with us multiple times a day to ensure we safely exited the island. I can't say enough positive things about the owner - great location, great house (HUGE) and extremely clean. We will be staying at the house again - hopefully without a hurricane next time!!!

Place is large and lovely

The house is well equipped with linens, kitchen pots, dishes etc. it is spacious and well furnished. Yard is large, could use some outdoor games. Overall, excellent choice for a wonderful family vacation!
