  • Peaceful Valley Retreat is a brand-new rental in Sugarcreek, OH. Nestled in the hills of Amish country and full of charm, this home will not disappoint. On the main floor there is a cozy living room, and a kitchen/dining area with lots of natural light and is well equipped for your cooking and dining needs. There is also a bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a full bathroom. Upstairs is a loft area that has a reading nook and two full-sized beds. Outside you'll find a beautiful view of Amish country and a furnished courtyard area for relaxing and unwinding. Sparkling clean and tastefully decorated, you'll find this home to be the perfect spot for your next getaway or business trip.



    IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

    - We kindly ask that there are no fireworks, loud music, or rowdy behavior.

    - Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.

    - Please be aware you will be charged 10% of the total trip at booking and the remaining 90% will be charged to the card on file, thirty days before check-in.

    - Absolutely no pets. If a pet is discovered, there will be a $250 upcharge.

We had a great time and the owners were extremely nice. We enjoyed watching the animals and the peaceful setting in the countryside. The hot tub was very relaxing and made for a very restful sleep. It is centrally located for easy access to Berlin, Sugarcreek, and Charm. It was super clean and provided all necessities for a weekend getaway. We would highly recommend this place to stay and will be returning.

We really enjoyed our peaceful stay here! The hot tub was amazing. However, we didn't receive our check in information on time. Check in was at 3pm and I had to call to get the information to check in after 3pm.

This location was close to everything. The scenery was unbeatable and the surrounding neighbors were all friendly and helpful. We loved the hot tub, availability of washer and dryer and fully stocked with utensils kitchen. The renter was prompt and thorough with communication and provided a binder of recommended places for food, shopping and coffee. Very nicely done

This place was so cute and comfortable! We loved the stay. We were surrounded by Amish, which was really neat to see. We had everything we needed. The hot tub was nice but couldn’t find how to turn lights on. Eventually figured it out. We made a fire and the area with the fire ring was lovely. We were close to everything but off the beaten path. Perfect!

If you are looking for a quick weekend getaway in a great location, this is absolutely it! The property was in the middle of a lot of different places which was perfect. Very clean and cozy,highly recommend!

**VENUS FLY TRAP IS WHAT THIS PROPERTY SHOULD BE CALLED**As soon as we walked in the property, there was fly trap tape hanging from the light fixture with maybe 100 flies attached. The hot tub was not clean and didn't stay warm. The bathroom was clean, floors were clean, but the fly situation really started things off on the wrong foot. The flies were pretty persistent the entire time we were there. We stayed one night even though we were planning on staying for 2. I personally would not recommend this place. We asked for a refund and are getting the silent treatment now. BUYER BEWARE!

We had a great family vacation at John’s cabin. It was the perfect getaway for our family. John and his wife were very kind and we really enjoyed talking with them. The home was perfect for our toddler to run around and lots of space outside too. We definitely plan to visit again in the future.

Cabin was adorable, very clean, super cozy. Kitchen had everything we needed, including 2 refrigerator/freezers. We did bring our own tv since I didn't see one in the pictures and I'm glad I did. The cabin didn't have central air, but luckily they had a portable air unit in one of the closets we were able to use. Location was great, I loved sitting on the porch and watching the chickens and horses in the morning. My only other "complaint" is that the hot tub isn't under a roof which is so nice unless you get rain to the point of flooding every night(which we did). Ultimately we would 100% rebook with this location!

We hit a home run with this booking. It was a great location for our interests and a beautiful setting, very peaceful and serene. The house was very nice and well equipped. With the single bathroom, I would recommend for a couple only or one with younger children. I suggest watching the sunset from the hot tub.

Nice cottage. Super clean, had everything we needed and gorgeous views every direction. Awesome private hot tub- nicest hot tub we ever had. The host, Joe and the housekeeper Amy were both super nice and helpful. Highly recommend and we will be back!!

I had such a relaxing and peaceful stay. The cabin had absolutely everything I needed and more. The beds were comfortable, the hot tub was perfect, so many extra little touches to make this place truly special. Communication was excellant. I am already planning another stay.

Anniversary getaway

We were celebrating 30 years. Quiet, relaxing, and beautiful place . Very close to the farm in walnut creek . Outdoor furniture could be upgraded. With out a doubt we would stay there again .

Wonderful location, cozy cottage

Wonderful cabin in the heart of Amish Country. Located adjacent to the Farm at Walnut Creek, we loved how close all of the attractions were. Minutes drive from Sugarcreek, Walnut Creek, Charm, Millersburg and more. Great, comfortable cabin with plenty of space. We will certainly recommend to our friends and stay here again!
