Heaven in Smyth County

What an amazing getaway! Beautifully decorated and nothing but the best! Pool and hot tub both top notch. We learned former patients of ours had built and lived in this house. Such great memories flooded us and felt such a kindred spirit! We will be back…. Often

Family Reunion

Eight siblings and one teen gathered for a week to fun, relaxation and reliving old memories from childhood. We laughed at ourselves and others!On July 5 neighbors provided us with at least an hour of beautiful fireworks that we watched from the patio. We couldn’t believe what a perfect view we had. Please thank them for us !

Spacious Mountain House

Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay at Sweet Retreat. While it was cold and snowy outside we were able to relax in a spacious home and also partake of the hot tub. Large fenced backyard was great for the pup while in the summer it would combine great with the pool and outdoor amenities!

Wonderful stay!

My group and I had a wonderful time staying at this place! There were eight adults for a fishing trip and it was perfect. The property is exactly as it was advertised: very clean, beds were comfy, fully stocked kitchen, sheets and towels were provided. A few extras we weren’t expecting: a lot of games, coffee and snacks. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, clean, comfortable, well-stocked - the complete package!

This home was amazing. It is enormous, clean, comfortable, and very well-stocked. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a feast, as well as everything you need to clean up afterwards including dishwasher tablets and dish soap. I really appreciated the labels on the kitchen cabinets, too, as that kept us from having to hunt for everything we needed. The appliances in the house were all fairly new looking, and everything worked great. The bedrooms are huge, and there are extra blankets in the closets. The hosts even provide beach towels for use with the pool and spa! The pool is very large and was sparkling clean when we arrived. There were several floats available to use in the pool as well. The backyard is beautiful and there is a great view of the surrounding mountains from back there. My family had a great time swimming, playing cornhole, sitting around the firepit (there was wood provided so we could make a fire!), and sitting in the hot tub. If we would have had more time, I'm sure we would have made use of the provided board games and/or jigsaw puzzles as well. We would definitely book this place again in the future!
