Location, Location, Location!!!

Ski in / ski out or bike in / bike out with hot tub! Perfect location in the Slopeside Community at Stratton Mountain. Ski right onto Home Run and take the Tamarack Lift to URSA Express and your at the top in minutes for first tracks. In the summer, bike right onto Trail Forest One and straight to the lifts. Easy 5 minute walk to Stratton Village for the restaurants, coffee, and nightlife. Need to relax the muscles after an active day? Use our private hot tub for the ultimate relaxation. Stop by the community heated outdoor swimming pool to cool off during your summer vacation. Community center comes with a ping pong table, foosball table, living space with big screen tv and a kitchen for your use.

Got older kids? Let them ski or bike while you relax at the house knowing they are right there on the mountain. Coming up mid-week and have to work? No problem. With high speed internet, you'll be able to work while the family bikes, hikes, or skis.

Home Setup

Newly remodeled townhome designed for the outdoors with storage right by the entrance and trail for your gear. Retire to the great room and get cozy in front of the wood fireplace. Break out some of the classic board games from years ago. The kitchen comes fully stocked with all the dishes you need as well as a coffee maker to help you get ready for your assault on the mountain! Air conditioning is in the top bedroom and in the main living space.

Vary a longer ski trip up a bit by visiting a nearby mountain as we are only 15 minutes to Bromley, 15 minutes to Magic Mountain, 30 minutes to Mount Snow, and 35 minutes to Okemo ski areas.

Sleeping Arrangements

Set up perfectly for two families, the first floor has two bedrooms. A bunk room with four twin beds and a king bed and a master bedroom that has a king bed and ensuite bathroom. On the main floor lies an additional bedroom with nearby bathroom. Upstairs is a loft that overlooks the living area with a queen bed and skylight.

Entertainment

There are three smart TVs throughout the house. YoutubeTV is included and loaded on each tv as a part of your stay, but you are able to cast anything from your phone as long as you are on the WiFi network. We have gigabit internet service from Xfinity to support all of your devices. Classic board games are there for use as well for all to enjoy.

We'll help get you started by providing several basic things upon check-in. These are meant to help you avoid an immediate trip to the store, but are not intended to cover your entire stay.

Need more room?

We also have an off mountain house only 5 minutes from Stratton that has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It's a great option for those groups that are large and want to have the benefit of a retreat off the mountain with a place to take a break right off the slopes.

The house was in a great location. The renovations to the kitchen and the bathrooms looked great. The kitchen was fully stocked. However the renovations to the bottom floor were not complete. They did not impact our stay but they didn't look good. Baseboards and trim were missing, there were holes in the wall by the thermostat where the drywall had not yet been patched. The hot tub was dirty. We notified the host on the second day who stated they would get someone to look at hot tub asap. No one showed up and we were not given an update during our 4 night stay, so we were unable to use the hot tub. Air conditioning was listed as being throughout the house but is not in the bottom floor bedrooms or the bedroom on the main floor. We used the game room, pool and the hot tub at the community center which were all very nice.

Old unit

This unit is very old , needs a make up , not enough kitchenware , so many thermostats used to heat the house , first day two main bedrooms could not be heated .The best thing about the house was hot tub which was on the deck , but the deck area was a cluster , needed to be cleaned. The location was great, it was ski in/out for sure .

We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the home and community amenities. Location was great and our family enjoyed the convenience of having the access to ski on / ski off. We look forward to our stay next year!

Mountainside Done Right **Highly Recommend**

We spent 12 days at this wonderful property and are already planning our trip next summer. The property is perfectly located on the mountain and just a few steps from the community pool and hot tub. We were able to hike to/from the base village each morning with direct trail access out the back door. The property is spacious, updated, and packed with all the essentials for a great vacation (the waffle iron was a HUGE hit!) Each bedroom was perfect for sleeping with great temperature controls (AC unit in one, fans & windows in others) that were so easy to adjust for warm evenings and cold evenings as well (we had one night get down to 48 and one night in the mid 70's) and no-one had any issues sleeping. Deck & grill were an added bonus with perfect sunlight all morning long. We had clear and very timely communication with the host (Kyle) and did not have a single issue our entire stay.
