The pub itself is gorgeous, decorated beautifully, it is cosy and inviting and located in a lovely spot by the stream.Although the actual car park itself was small this was no problem as we parked literally a couple of minutes away on the lane, perfect as it allowed the opportunity to see a tiny red squirrel busy in a nearby tree. "What a magical 2 night stay! Surpassed expectations. Room was A*, clean and spacious. The castle was elegant and homely. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Food was exceptional also. Would highly recommend and will certainly visit again! "

"Staff lovely. Bed comfy, sheets and towels clean. The room was ok but the shower room was full of black mould. In the room damp by the window. Really cold despite having a plug in heater. Expedia sold this as a stay with breakfast included, which it was not All in all disappointed. We have received a partial refund "
