This place is definitely one of a kind, a little quirky, a little mismatched, but surprisingly comfortable. It was quiet, I felt safe as a solo traveler, and I slept great. The A/C in the bedroom was ice cold (which I loved), though it didn’t quite make its way to the kitchen.
Check-in was an experience! The office door was locked, and you have to call the number on the door. A very friendly gentleman met me right away and was super helpful, but the little office setup felt straight out of a scary movie scene. Honestly, a simple self check-in would make things smoother.
My unit (#205, upstairs) was like a small apartment — cozy, practical, and full of personality. Nothing really matched: towels, curtains, dishes — everyone was doing their own thing, but somehow that added to the charm. I even found a Bud Light cap on the counter, which made me laugh.
It’s not fancy, but it’s clean, quiet, and has its own offbeat character. If you’re easygoing, appreciate a little quirk, and just need a safe, comfy place near Clearwater Beach, this place fits the bill.
