The hotel and my room was clean. The area surrounding the hotel was excellent, close to the beach. I was put in room #222 on the 2nd FL which has a balcony. The room is DIRECTLY above the kitchen and breakfast dining room. I stayed for five nights. The upstairs guest stomped around for hours at a time for four days. As well as having to deal with Kitchen noise at 0530am (breakfast 6-10), wooden chairs being dragged across the tile floor in the breakfast area. I attempted to change rooms, but no other balconies available. I requested the top 4th floor. I was told they had rooms available but the 4th FL is reserved for rewards members. I told them I was a rewards member. They refused to put me on 4th floor. I asked the front desk staff to talk to the manager. No response. The only contact I had was from housekeeping leaving a note on my door asking if I needed anything? Also, the WiFi was out 4 of the five days I was there. I was told two WiFi providers had been working on the issue for sometime. I wasn’t told about the WiFi issue when I checked in. The ice machine was broken as well on the 2nd floor. The last day I was there was topped off with a large barking dog a few doors down from mine. After speaking with another staff member it was clear I wasn’t a valued patron.
Heads up, all of the 2nd floor balcony units are above the breakfast dining area. Breakfast is 0600-1000. All non- valued customers get rooms on 1st & 2nd floors.
