Featured in the Hallmark movie "Love in the Sun", the Acorn Terrace apartment is on the second floor (European first floor) of the original Safety Harbor Hotel on Main Street, built in 1914. Recently renewed, the flat features all the comforts of home. The Inn is right in the center of downtown Safety Harbor, 15 minutes from both Clearwater (PIE) and Tampa International Airport (TPA) , 11 miles to the white sandy beaches of Clearwater, 17 miles to St.Petersburg. This is a perfect home base for your Gulf adventures. You will receive a keypad code by noon the day of your arrival upon booking. The keypad code will not work with the smart lock until it is check in time.

INSIDE
The lovely, sunny apartment overlooks a corner of Main St., Safety Harbor, a quaint, historic combo of shops and restaurants. The space was renewed from scratch and is decorated with your comfort and convenience in mind. The livable space feels immediately like home. The shower-stall bath is stocked with plush towels and initial goodies for bathing. The queen bed is lushly made with firm and soft pillows and throws, good reading lamps and a closet. The kitchen, living (pull-out sofa), and indoor dining are one open space. The kitchen has full-sized appliances, cookware, cutlery and necessities for people who love to cook, have their morning coffee, or to just serve their take-away.

OUTSIDE
The large, open terrace is partially shaded by the city’s third oldest live oak tree (hence the Acorn name) decorated with more comfy furniture and outfitted for al fresco dining.

The flat can accommodate 4 guests, but please know the steps to access it are outdoors, exposed to the elements, and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. There is free on and off-street parking.

The city hosts many music and food events events throughout the year. With the location of this flat, you are central to all of the events held on Main St. The Safety Harbor Marina, pier, and a spa are just 6 blocks away to enjoy a stroll along the water while searching for manatees in the bay. There is a finished walk/bike path stretching 15+ miles along the Old Tampa Bay.
