Eagles Bluff - 6 Br Lakefront Cabin on 20 acres

Recently completed, this stunning 3400-sf chalet rests atop a hill on 20 acres of private woodland in the heart of the Wisconsin Northwoods. On Lake Content (part of the 1880-acre Big St Germain Lake chain), it is designed for multi-generational families and other large groups. The Heart of Vilas County 52-mile paved bike trail is at the end of our driveway and the Bo-Boen snowmobile trail crosses our driveway!

Beautiful Place

The property was beautiful and very clean. The amenities were all there including the fully stocked kitchen, firewood etc. We wanted a quiet reflective family weekend for my parents 50th and this was a nice location for just that. The sweet view from the deck provided an opportunity for quiet moments with coffee in the morning and nice views of eagles flying by. The expansive living room was nice for sweet conversation in the evenings.There was so much space, far more than we needed or used but every corner was spotless, including the floor to ceiling windows in the family room.The owners were immediately responsive by text which was nice.We rented off season, first week in May, and naturally the boat dock, table by the lake and Kyaks were not available. I do not hold that against them as we never asked and should have thought of that. There is a nice public boat launch just minutes away which met our needs for a brief visit.

Friends get together

We had a group of 12 friends. There was plenty laughs, games and food. The cabin was very spacious which was so nice to each have our own space if needed. Everything was available and hostess was excellent.

Wonderful property

This was a fabulous place to stay for our family trip. We came up to celebrate the life of my Uncle who passed away in May. There were 14 adults and 2 children under 3. There was enough space that we were never on top of each other and the property and location is just fantastic.

Fantastic getaway!

Our families enjoyed a wonderful stay at Eagles Bluff! The property is gorgeous and just a quick bike ride away from restaurants in St. Germain. We spotted a bald eagle from the back deck within minutes of arriving! The bedrooms all have plenty of space with comfortable beds, and the kids loved sleeping in the bunk room together. The kitchen is fully stocked, everything was very clean, and you can tell that great care is taken in maintaining this beautiful home. We rented a boat one day and were able to explore Lake Content and head out to Big St. Germain Lake as well. Then we docked right at the house. The water around the dock is shallow and the bottom is sandy so the kids loved playing there. The only negative of our trip was that we couldn't stay longer! Thank you for a great vacation, we can't wait to come back!

Eagles Bluff is Perfection

We gathered with 19 family members ages 7-82yo and it was the perfect place for honoring our father (& grandpa, uncle, brother). Several indoor and outdoor large gathering spaces and the place is new and beautiful.

It was great New Year stay

We booked this house for a New Years celebration. We had 8 adults and 8 kids. The stay was wonderful! Even tho we didn’t get any snow there this year, we enjoyed and woods and the lake. Very clean, cozy rooms and the atmosphere. The view is breathtaking. The owner is always responsive, helpful and very kind! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for everything!

Checks all the boxes for large/multiple families

Excellent home to stay at for family gathering with multiple families! We had 6 different couples and each had their own room for comfort and privacy. The en-suite on the main floor was the perfect room for our older parents, complete with door to the deck. We choose this property specifically because of the multiple bedrooms. Parents did not have to do any stairs except for two steps into house; it was great! The kitchen table sat 12 comfortably for family meals. Kids could sit at the island. We brought bags of ice, griddle, measuring cups and mixing bowls- but none of that was needed because the house has all the amenities you could need! Plenty of plates, silverware, griddle, toaster, coffee machine, electric mixer, and an even an under counter ice machine! There were enough mugs, wine glasses, glasses for our large group. Loft area has comfortable bunks too. Great stay, great views. Already planning our trip for next year to book again! This checks all the boxes.
