IT PROVIDES SOME OF THE BEST VALUE ON THE ISLAND AS IT IS LOCATED DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM THE BEACH ACCESS ON 8TH STREET. YOU CAN SWIM IN THE GULF AND ENJOY THE PRISTINE SAND OF ST GEORGE OR SWIM IN THE POOL, IT HAS THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. THE COTTAGES ARE ABOUT A 15 MINUTE WALK TO THE CENTER OF THE ISLAND WHERE YOU CAN ENJOY RESTAURANTS, BARS, SHOPPING, AND WHATEVER ELSE YOU CAN FIND. This location was excellent, the beach was right across the street and a short walk over the dune boardwalk. The cottage was clean and bright. The kitchen was well supplied. The downtown area was just a 20 minute walk. The area was very quiet, not much traffic at all.

Excellent Location

We really enjoyed the easy access to the beach. Air conditioning was cold, beds comfy and plenty of hot water. The pool was clean and refreshing. Would stay here again.

SEA FOOD FESTIVAL

THIS PROPERTY IS WONDERFUL. WE WILL RENT IT AGAIN. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. I WOULD ONLY SUGGEST UPDATING THE LIVING ROOM FURNITURE. THE COUCH AND CHAIR WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. MAYBE FIX A FEW STOVE EYES. BUT EVERYTHING WAS GREAT

Retreat cottage

Beautiful location steps from the beach for watching the sunrises and sunsets. Pool was clean and well maintained for afternoon swims to cool off. PM was responsive and kind. A wonderfully relaxing visit!

SGI Beach Bum Vottages

I celebrated my 70th birthday at Beach Bum Cottages. my husband and I and My senior dog were with me. We had a great time visiting the beach, restaurants, and shops. We are going back again next year.

Cozy cottages, close to the beach, clean, nice pool. Owner and property manager are responsive to questions and great to deal with. Will be back again!

Beach Bum is one of the few smaller places in St George, perfect for 2-4 people. Steps away from the beach, refreshing pool, and very cute neighborhood. Good communication with the manager too.

Great family time

Our stay was perfect. Not a huge house, but perfect size for what we were looking for. We spent more time across the street at the beach! So close and easy to set up our beach spot and come home for lunch, or a dip in the pool!! ♥️

Very low end property

The property sleeps four comfortably. However, in the living area, there is only one chair and a couch. Very awkward and inadequate seating for two couples. There is a common courtyard with picnic tables outside for each unit, but they are all crammed in the same area with nothing to separate them and no privacy an all. This would be ok if all four units were occupied by the same party, but makes the courtyard pretty useless, otherwise. The pool is pleasant, but there are no tables or shade in the area, so you can't really eat out there and there is no relief from the sun. It's a cheaper rental and it really shows. I would recommend spending a bit more for a nicer property.

A good property manager makes all the difference

Property as advertised. Clean & comfortable. Very easy walk to beach. Interior, exterior and grounds nicely done and comfortable. The local PM (Laura) was very helpful and responsive. We will book again next year.

This is a great little two bedroom. Perfect for Mom/Daughter trip. I have already recommended it to several friends. Love being across street from beach. We took advantage of the convienent golf cart rentals. Highly recomment

Great location

Was nice having the beach right across the street. Just pick up your beach chair and go. The apartment was very clean and the linens on the bed, fresh and crisp. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our fresh seafood. The pool was an added bonus. Was nice to take a dip in after our morning walks.

Great little cottage

Just what 2 friends traveling together needed. Great size, very clean with everything needed provided. Steps from the beach with very nice neighbors. Laura made check-in easy and was friendly and helpful when we met. Definitely on my list for a return trip!
