THIS PROPERTY IS A 2 BEDROOM 1 BATHROOM QUADRIPLEX WITH PRIVATE IN GROUND SWIMMING POOL. ENJOY YOUR OWN PRIVATE COTTAGE WITH FAMILY AND OR FRIENDS. IT PROVIDES SOME OF THE BEST VALUE ON THE ISLAND AS IT IS LOCATED DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM THE BEACH ACCESS ON 8TH STREET. YOU CAN SWIM IN THE GULF AND ENJOY THE PRISTINE SAND OF ST GEORGE OR SWIM IN THE POOL, IT HAS THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. THE COTTAGES ARE ABOUT A 15 MINUTE WALK TO THE CENTER OF THE ISLAND WHERE YOU CAN ENJOY RESTAURANTS, BARS, SHOPPING, AND WHATEVER ELSE YOU CAN FIND. We came down for a short but pleasant getaway trip. The setup is very nice, as one unit is private enough for a couple, but the complex is perfect for a family trip, as we met a family staying in the other three units. The facilities are in great shape, and beach access is close and easy to use. The host was detailed and fast to address any questions we had. We will definitely return

Great relaxing getaway for my husband and 2 kiddos. Easy access to the beach and pool was perfect for what we wanted. Beach bum cottage had everything we needed, clean, and great location. We rented a golf cart from the property manager, and that was a fun added bonus to our stay on the island. We will be back!

This location was excellent, the beach was right across the street and a short walk over the dune boardwalk. The cottage was clean and bright. The kitchen was well supplied. The downtown area was just a 20 minute walk. The area was very quiet, not much traffic at all.

We really enjoyed the easy access to the beach. Air conditioning was cold, beds comfy and plenty of hot water. The pool was clean and refreshing. Would stay here again.

SEA FOOD FESTIVAL

THIS PROPERTY IS WONDERFUL. WE WILL RENT IT AGAIN. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. I WOULD ONLY SUGGEST UPDATING THE LIVING ROOM FURNITURE. THE COUCH AND CHAIR WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. MAYBE FIX A FEW STOVE EYES. BUT EVERYTHING WAS GREAT

Retreat cottage

Beautiful location steps from the beach for watching the sunrises and sunsets. Pool was clean and well maintained for afternoon swims to cool off. PM was responsive and kind. A wonderfully relaxing visit!

SGI Beach Bum Vottages

I celebrated my 70th birthday at Beach Bum Cottages. my husband and I and My senior dog were with me. We had a great time visiting the beach, restaurants, and shops. We are going back again next year.

Beach Bum is one of the few smaller places in St George, perfect for 2-4 people. Steps away from the beach, refreshing pool, and very cute neighborhood. Good communication with the manager too.

Great family time

Our stay was perfect. Not a huge house, but perfect size for what we were looking for. We spent more time across the street at the beach! So close and easy to set up our beach spot and come home for lunch, or a dip in the pool!! ♥️

Very low end property

The property sleeps four comfortably. However, in the living area, there is only one chair and a couch. Very awkward and inadequate seating for two couples. There is a common courtyard with picnic tables outside for each unit, but they are all crammed in the same area with nothing to separate them and no privacy an all. This would be ok if all four units were occupied by the same party, but makes the courtyard pretty useless, otherwise. The pool is pleasant, but there are no tables or shade in the area, so you can't really eat out there and there is no relief from the sun. It's a cheaper rental and it really shows. I would recommend spending a bit more for a nicer property.
