"Great location for lakeside shopping centre. Lots of parking. Friendly staff. Room is on the small side fine for a night but would struggle for longer. Comfortable bed and pillows. Hot shower and decent toiletries. WiFi is really poor just hitting 1mb! Had to use phone data to watch firestick. "

We especially liked that you could always go to the reception area to pick up extra tea bags, coffee, sugar, etc. to use with the kettle in the room. During our three-day stay, the room was cleaned on request, and towels were changed upon request as well. When I asked for fresh towels, they arrived promptly—and as a lovely...

"Very friendly and welcoming staff. This is a five hundred year old building so don't expect a Premier inn with nice even floors and shiny paintwork, however if you want a pub hotel with real character this place is a gem. Every member of staff was great and couldn't do enough to make the stay perfect. Unfortunately we didn't get to have a meal there but the breakfast is absolutely worth getting up for. We will be back. "

"on arrival we request more pillows as there was only 3 in a family room hours later returned to ask again no pillows turnt up , one of the beds had a big dip in the bed , there was cracks in the wall , breakfast was terrible no cooked couldnt call it continental there was cereal with gone off milk toast & choice of 2 muffins , tea & coffee, all in all over priced & will not say here again "

"I stayed here for one night as a solo traveller. On arrival they asked for ID, which I found a bit unusual, and then sent a link asking for credit card details to cover any potential damages. I understand why hotels do this, but it did feel a bit impersonal. The location is good and there’s plenty of parking, which is a big plus.
