"Upon arrival we learned the gym and pool were closed due to tv filming going on at the hotel, we should have been informed of that when booking. After checking in and unpacking, we had to be relocated to another room because of loud noises coming through the ceiling and walls (apparently a water pipe/pressure problem). Then the key cards to the new room didn't work and we had to go back down to the front desk to get that sorted (no apology from staff at all). New room missing a few items -...

"We recently stayed for one night at the Crowne Plaza and while I would stay there again, there were two things that were not ideal: Our room was at the rear side and we were awakened at about 3:15 am by extremely loud metal banging noises and we realized that it had to have been from some truck picking up one or more dumpster containers. Do youself a favour and book a room at the front of the hotel! Also, the sliding doors to our room were not sealing well and since it was a very windy night...

"Positives: Amazing price for staying in downtown Toronto. The set up of the hotel is good with different areas for eating, studying, sleeping, etc. Negative: NOISE while you are going to sleep/sleeping. If saving money is your main priority then you just have to put up with the noise. If you want a good nights sleep then pay more and stay in another hotel. People are not trying to make noise but you can hear everyone unpacking, plastic bags being opened, people entering and exiting their pod,...

"Excellent location, walking distance to lots of great shops and restaurants like Storm Crow Manor. I love the underground parking, felt very secure. The room was big but didn't feel super clean. We had fresh sheets on the bed, and fresh garbage bin, but there were random pompoms (?) around the room, and the bathroom walls are pretty stained. It's the best value for the location though! I ended up being charged more at check in, than I was quoted on my Expedia booking, which was a bummer. But...
