"Comfortable, super clean, fully equipped, excellent tucked away quiet location within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, pubs, beach and harbour . The boat trip to the Farne Islands is not to be missed and we enjoyed our day trip over the border to Kelso through the Northumberland National Park. The beaches everywhere are fantastic!"

"The view from the cottage is outstanding. A long wooden table in the conservatory to sit about 8 people. There are comfy chairs too to relax in. The lounge is kind of rustic and a wee bit dark during the day. Ample table lamps to give a nice aura when it’s dark. I think there is way too much furniture in the room to be honest. Kitchen is small but has everything you need. 2nd bedroom is ok. The main bedroom is ok lovely duvet and bedding. Plenty storage. A bit narrow to get around the bottom of...

"The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable. It would be nice to have a few basic essentials such as salt and pepper and hand soap upon arrival to get things...
