Summary:
Welcome to Nanna and Poppa's Nest! This cozy 2/2 log cabin on 2 wooded acres sleeps up to 5. Enjoy a relaxing stay with a wood-burning fireplace, covered porches, and modern amenities. The kitchen is fully stocked, and there's a gas grill for outdoor cooking. Extras include wireless internet, TVs with streaming, a Keurig coffee maker, and board games. Close to Fall Creek Falls and Rock Island State Parks. Pets are welcome with a fee. Most holidays require a 3-night stay.

Fireplace temporarily out of order — thanks for your understanding!
Guest have access to the entire apartment.
No smoking is allowed. (Smoking Violation fee is $350)
Disclaimer: Please note that occasional Wi-Fi issues from the service provider may occur. The host will not be liable for any compensation due to lost Wi-Fi connections experienced by guests.
Local guests within a 50 km radius of the property are subject to approval.

ID and Verification: To comply with legal and security requirements, you may be asked to provide a government-issued photo ID, verify your contact information, and provide a valid credit card matching your ID for verification. Depending on our screening results, additional credit card verification may be required. A security deposit may be needed (excluding Airbnb guests).

Pet Policy: We welcome up to 2 pets on the property, subject to a non-refundable $100 pet cleaning fee per stay.

Guest Support: Our team is available daily from 7 AM to 10 PM CT to assist with any questions.

Food Delivery:
We recommend using Shipt dot com for food deliveries, which will deliver directly to the property.

Sleeping Capacity: The property accommodates up to 5 guests. The standard capacity is 4 guests, with an additional guest fee of $5 per person, per night for the 5th guest. All guests over 2 years old must be listed on the reservation. Unlisted guests will incur a fee of $50 per person, per night.

Check-In/Check-Out:

Standard Check-In: 3 PM
Early Check-In: Requests before 11 AM are subject to availability and will incur a 50% nightly rate fee.
Standard Check-Out: 11 AM
Late Check-Out: Subject to availability with fees as follows:
50% of the nightly rate for check-outs after 11 AM
75% of the nightly rate for check-outs after 1 PM
100% of the nightly rate for check-outs after 3 PM
A minimum fee of $100 applies, whichever is higher.

Supplies: Basic essential starter kits are provided. For longer stays or additional needs, please plan accordingly.

Smoking Policy: A $350 fee will be charged for smoking inside the property, including cigarettes, vaping, and marijuana.

Wi-Fi Disclaimer: Occasionally, Wi-Fi issues may arise due to service provider problems. We are not liable for any compensation due to lost Wi-Fi connections.

The cabin was warm, welcoming and felt like home. Very clean and well organized. The rental process from start to finish was very professional & responsive. I highly recommend this rental. Dining out tips: I highly recommend Mel's Old Time Cafe for breakfast & Ugly Mug for dinner. Both were very close & fantastic!

Anniversary Get-Away

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was quiet and secluded. We especially enjoyed sitting in the swings on the front porch. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The WiFi worked perfectly. Overall the cabin was clean; however, some areas needed a good dusting. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Even better than the pictures and description!!! We loved our stay and felt so welcomed and at home after a 12 hour drive. Great communication and response time from host. Enjoyed morning coffee sitting in the porch swing. A short 30 minute drive to both Falls Creek Falls state park and Rock Island. Looking forward to taking a break from everyday city life and enjoying another stay.

Pet fees should be disclosed in the property details BEFORE booking. You should not have to contact the host and wait for an answer prior to booking. The questionnaire after booking had inappropriate questions. Check in details arrived less than 24 hours before we arrived and check out the same. Check out instructions should be posted at the property. The cabin was very well stocked with supplies and amenities.

We stayed at this cabin and really like it. We tried to cook in the oven, but it smoked out the house. It needs a good cleaning inside. We then tried to use the BbQ, and that is not working properly.

Fall Creek Falls vacation.

Stayed here 6 years ago and really enjoyed it. Property is still very nice but seemed a little more worn than 6 years ago but then again it was a little cheaper than it was 6 years ago so I really have no complaints. The only downside was there were a few supplies that were lacking such as no dishwasher pods for dishwasher and no plug for sink so couldn’t wash dishes in the sink either, had to buy our own pods. Also a guest book for cabin info would be helpful. I had to email the company to get Wi-Fi password and what was expected at checkout. Overall I would still give 4.5 out of 5 stars

Such a beautiful cabin, beautiful location, the cabin sets all cozy in the woods. Just perfect for us get some much needed relaxing time. Perfect place to get out and walk and enjoy nature!

Amazing Peaceful location

If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, you've found it. If you want to explore Falls Creek Falls and the surrounding area, it's just minutes away. The cabin offers all the amenities you need for a relaxing time away from life's everyday hustle and bustle. Sit by the firepit and unwind, and at the end of your stay, you can do your laundry so you don't have to do it when you go home :) This was my second time at the cabin and I look forward to enjoying it again in the future

Nice place. Very secluded and quiet. Has accommodating amenities and options to really enjoy both the indoors and outdoors. It’s very close to multiple state parks which all have amazing nature to see and experience. I will very likely be returning here in the near future!

This is a lovely property! It's a perfect place to relax and get away from city life. Everything works perfectly, and the owners have thought of everything you'll need -- except a standard coffeemaker. My mother-in-law doesn't like Keurigs. Beds were comfortable, furniture was inviting, shower was very nice, even the cookware was great. The only true caveat is that it is out in the middle of nowhere, so you're going to drive a ways for a restaurant or grocery store. It's a good while to the state park as well, but it's a pretty drive for most of the trip. The property is very well maintained, and the owner's communication with us was excellent. Highly recommend this property if proximity to a town is not a priority.
