"The lobby and resturaunt were very nice and maintained. The room was clean but slightly dated, with less maintenance than ideal (i.e., stained ironing board, chipping paint, uncomfortable bed & pillows). I liked the feature of having a balcony door I could keep open to the rest of the hotel, provided white noise that was comforting. Overall, not my first choice to stay here again, but it was an overall good experience."

"Currently undergoing reno’s so somewhat dirty hall carpet will be replaced in near future. No noise from reno’s. Room was quiet, refurbished and done so very nice. Only complaint I have was no grab bar in bathtub so I didn’t feel safe taking a bath or a shower. Free breakfast was continental which is ok but a sign said waffles available but there was no waffle maker in sight."

"The unit was well kept cleaned and put together. My only request is that unit needs, is a hot hot plate if staying more than 2 days or especially over 2 days. Otherwise, well set in."

"The property was very poorly maintained. The elevator was out of service, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs to the second floor. The building itself felt very old and neglected. The staff were not welcoming and came across as somewhat rude. The bathroom was also not functioning properly, as water was leaking from the sink. The carpet was extremely dirty and looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time, which was quite unpleasant. On top of that, the air conditioning unit was...

"Nice hotel room and convenient for needing to be close to U of A's Learning Assessment Centre. There's lots of restaurants nearby as well that are within walking distance."

"The price for the room was top notch, however the floor was a bit dirty, there was dog food on the floor, the light was missing from the ceiling, the counter peeling, the stove burners broken, However the beds were clean and comfortable and the building was quiet. The staff were super friendly. Breakfast is mediocre at best, but it's better than no breakfast at all. I would stay here again because the price was excellent."

"Quite convenient to walk around Whyte Ave, with plenty of bars nearby. However, it gets quite noisy at night, especially with cars passing along the street around midnight. I asked the staff if I could switch to a quieter room on the other side, but unfortunately that wasn’t possible. Additionally, the room amenities were quite limited, even no chair by the table."
