Extremely disappointed in our stay here - we had paid extra (and non-refundable in advance) for a Master type room and unfortunately our safe didn't work (it was obviously not in working order as all the batteries had been removed due to having had exploded and corroded into the safe), and the staff refused to give us a working safe or a different room, even though it was still early in the day. There was also no "Do Not Disturb" sign, so no way to tell staff not to disturb us while in the room. The room was also wheelchair accessible (which they gave us with absolutely no warning) with emergency red pull tags everywhere, low sinks, long bars and a chair in the shower, which we didn't need - that alone would have been fine, but it just made our stay even more strange. There was absolutely no desire to make things right or apologize, basically a "deal with it" attitude - I feel that they purposely gave us a less desirable room as I was traveling alone with my child. They did offer to keep all of our valuables in the manager's office, which seems a bit silly to offer when its the same manager that will do absolutely nothing to resolve your issues, yet will seemingly watch over your passport and valuables. Yha, a hard no on that one. It's bad enough that a mother traveling alone with her child is not given a room with a working safe or a "Do Not Disturb" sign, and that everyone at front desk now knows about it, and then ask to hold on to all your valuables.
