Check-in was a hassle. The room had thick dust on the headboard and the moulding. Tiles in bathroom would move when stepped on. Lack of floor padding between floors. Worker wasn't in the store to purchase drinks and when she came in she didn't know how to work the register. Balcony door was extremely hard to open and unlock/lock. The pictures are very misleading because our king side balcony with ocean view did not look like the doctored photos online. The curtains are old and stained. They drag the floor and were dirty. The ADA bar in the shower came disconnected from the wall. The shower curtain was moldy on the bottom. We tried to cancel the 2nd night once we got to the room but since it was after the cutoff time because check-in is at 3 or 4, we had to speak with management but they would not be back until 10am the following day. Got Expedia involved and they were told the same thing. Management should be onsite at all times for issues such as this. We just decided to stay for the 2nd night because at this time we weren't waiting to see if we would be refunded if we checked out. We venture out at 8am and at 12pm, we received a call asking if we were staying another night and if so, we needed to come back to the hotel and check back in since we had 2 reservations. I explained that the guy that checked us in said we were good to go and we would stay in that room for the 2nd night. It was a hassle and we will not be back.
