Peaches and Beach - Only 3 blocks to South Beach

This historic vacation rental has been lovingly cared for and modernized to blend its original charm with modern conveniences. The location couldn't be better, with so many attractions within easy walking distance. This is the perfect gathering place for families.

INSIDE THE VACATION RENTAL
The main level features a 3-season porch for relaxing and enjoying the Lake breezes. The entry foyer is impressive and opens into the large dining room and living room; the kitchen has been totally updated and stocked and features new appliances and a wet bar. In the rear of the home is a family room with a flat-screen TV. Also on this level is the main bedroom with a full bath.
The second floor has three more bedrooms and a full bath. The home has central air, washer/dryer, and cable/wireless internet - and is loaded with fun stuff for the kids - games, videos, and all the beach and water toys you could want for great times at the Lake.

SLEEPING
With 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, this home can accommodate 11 guests
Main bedroom - king bed and bathroom (located on the main floor)
Second floor - one bathroom and three bedrooms:

One twin and one full bed
One twin, one trundle, and a twin bunk bed

OUTDOOR SPACE
A lovely rear patio with a gas grill is perfect for cookouts. The outdoor table seats 6, perfect for eating al fresco or working on craft projects.

The attached garage can accommodate one car, and street parking is available in front of the house.

Just 3 short blocks to the beauty of South Beach, the River Walk or Kids' Corner, and a short walk to all of the fun of downtown South Haven, this is a “park your car and forget about it" property. Stroll to sunset every evening!

Great stay for the family

Great location, stocked amenities with lots of beach gear. Place was surface clean but needs a deep clean.

Great location, few issues

The house has a great location within easy walking distance to the beach and to downtown. Two issues with the property, first the door code would not work, same with the next few given from the property manager, it took an hour to get into the house. Second, the thermostat is not user friendly and the air was not set to come on until it was 86 degrees, it took a while to figure out how to set the temp so the AC would come on (external temps were in the 90s) and then even longer to get the upstairs somewhat cooled off.All in all a good stay but those issues kept it from 5 stars.

Perfect for a group!

Pros: - bedroom setup worked well for our group of 2 families with small kids + grandparents - large dining table with 10 seats (and we squeezed another in at the end for 11) -lots of games and puzzles - 3 separate sitting/ couch areas (2 with TVs) for when people wanted to do separate things - table for 6 outside with some room to run and play (we put a blanket down for the kids to picnic when we ate outside) - very short walk to the beach or downtown - lots of beach toys, chairs, umbrella, tubes, etc in the garage - beds were comfortable - washer and dryer with detergent and dryer sheets provided - foyer with stairs had doors we could close to keep the crawling baby away - clean and nicely stocked kitchen - water heater somehow kept up with all of us Cons: - the only minor thing i can up with is that the closelines (retractable) outside didn't have enough tension to stay up with anything hanging on them. Overall it worked great for our family and we'd definitely stay here again.

We had a great time and the house worked very well for our needs.

We had a great time and the house worked very well for our needs. I have already recommended it to someone who said he will be looking to come to South Haven. As noted in number 7 above, the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Someone in the office late on Saturday afternoon. The supplied access code did not work, but when I called the office, the woman who answered was very helpful. We received our new code and got in right away.

The only complaint we had was the outdoor area was very very small the grill needs replaced it's very rusty and the outdoor patio furniture needs updated. Everyone I dealt with at the realty company was very very professional and very nice. We unfortunately had the experience of the outdoor table shattering when were putting the umbrella in it and they were quick to respond to make another accommodation for a table

Extremely happy with the amount of accessory items in the house - plates, bowls, silverware, cooking items, bicycles and beach items in the garage. This unit EASILY included more accessory items than any other place we have stayed. Location was perfect. Kitchen and entryway had ants, but they were small. A bit of a nuisance, but not a really big deal. Kitchen faucet needs to be replaced and the disposer, although it worked, was the loudest I have ever heard. (I sell plumbing supplies for a living, so . . . .)
