We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel the weekend on September 12.Earlier this year I booked two one bedroom kitchen suites for our stay. We specifically booked kitchen suites because we needed the kitchens to prep for our football tailgate.We had these rooms in this hotel last year so we knew they existed and also received confirmation of our rooms.Upon check in we were told kitchen suites do not exist and were given standard rooms-But still were charged the suite rate. When I complained to the management,I was told that they would put a note in my portfolio for Expedia to credit my account 50% to make up for the lower tier room and all I had to do was contact Expedia and the credit would go through.I have contacted Expedia numerous times and I have contacted various people at the hotel several times and have not gotten a response from anyone.This is extremely disappointing because I have stayed in this hotel before and I use Expedia on a regular basis. I cannot believe no one is responding to me.
The hotel is in desperate need of an update and it is extremely short staffed. With the exception of Sarah,the staff on hand tries to be helpful.But there are not enough of them.Plus the hotel is in such disarray that many of the customers are unhappy -which takes up even more of the front desk's time.
Our stay was a joke. We did not get the rooms we reserved,we were overcharged for our rooms,we had to beg for a towels and the door locks were sporadic. Not a good stay!
