Beautiful property set amongst cocoa trees and luscious jungle. Staff are friendly and welcoming. We appreciated the water refill station to negate the use of plastic water bottles. The pools were cool and fresh, and the onsite fitness classes are a wonderful addition. Location is perfect, being close to many incredible activities and sights. I 100% recommend for your stay in St. Lucia.

We stayed in one of the cottages with and outdoor shower. I wish I never had to leave. Absolutely amazing. Incredible property with fun trails and amazing nature all around. Friendly staff and alright food. The restaurant could be better (and not so expensive!!) and we might’ve stayed on property more then. We wished they had a hot tub for late at night after the long hikes, but that’s all that was truly missing. More trails to run would be fun, but the one they had was awesome. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to be close and accessible to Soufiere and right in the heart of all there is to do in the area… and less than an hour to the airport.

We spent 5 days at Fond Doux and had a wonderful time! The staff was professional and friendly. We thought our room was spacious, clean and beautiful. We enjoyed breakfast every morning and there was a great variety food and service was excellent. We spent a lot of time exploring the area and coming back to Fond Doux felt like coming home. We loved the pools and we enjoyed the bar!

This has been the most relaxing holiday we have ever had, we left feeling really nourished by it. All the staff are very welcoming and pleasant, we had all the help we wanted and it always came cheerfully with a smile. Fond Doux has a lovely laid back vibe, lush gardens full of birds, lovely to sit out in the evening listening to frogs and crickets calling. The resort is near to the two Pitons, volcanic hot springs & mud baths, botanical gardens & diamond waterfall, several beaches (a shuttle is provided to Sugar Beach). The Tet Paul Trail is a 30 minute walk up the road (up bring the operative word!) and there is also a ‘Piton View Trail’ within the grounds of Fond Doux which, although steep up and down, is well worth doing. There are two swimming pool areas on the property, both very nice. We didn’t use the sauna or gymn but did join Pilates and Aquarobics which were great. The food was great, the hotel restaurant has a Carribean night with live music - great on both the Saturdays we were there. Highly recommended resort if you prefer quiet, private locations in Nature rather than the larger bustling resorts on offer.

Stunning gardens and grounds. Very friendly and helpful staff. Make sure you hike the petite piton lookout, it’s well worth it!

This place is such a hidden gem. The staff is so very friendly and helpful. Each of the rooms is in their own little cabin, and ours was very tastefully decorated. This resort is close to lots of things to do. And easy drive into town for dinner, to Gros Piton for a hike or to Sugar Beach for a dip. The resort restaurant is delicious, and we could have eaten all of our meals here.

An excellent resort providing a good balance of charming accommodation, very good staff, in a lovely natural environment. Swimming pools were good, and the addition of free Pilates and other exercise classes were a welcome surprise. Good location for visiting other attractions. We also liked the owner’s philosophy of protecting the environment and supporting local producers

In a lovely setting! All the cottages are separate, some high and low, with 2 different pools. Cottages are rustic - so be prepared for that as my shower was outside. The room was clean and they provide a central water cooler. The breakfast was great, however i would recommend going somewhere else for dinner like Ladera or Rabot The staff were nice, but it always seemed like you were bothering them was asking them questions. Easy to get around if you have a car, but otherwise it's a little tricky. Close to the superman waterfalls and the sulphur springs, but still need a car to travel to them. Chocolate tour was underwhelming and as the staff seem so demotivated, the tour was very flat. However, they did make an effort on my birthday to decorate my bed, which was a lovely touch.

Fabulous environment. Set right in the jungle so very different to other hotels. The cottages are all slightly different, ours Bamboo, had a lovely bed and outside shower. Aircon was one of the best. On/ off, up/down. All the staff were nice, can’t name all the good ones because they didn’t all have name badges but Shernic in the restaurant and Peter in the bar. I was there 6 weeks ago and lovely ladies on reception remember me. On the negatives, you do need a car or taxi. I used Alex app which was great for taxis. Cheaper than other options. If the weather is bad not much to do at the resort. Hotel was good value for money

The staff were very nice and helpful. The amenities were great. My cottage was very clean & nice, I loved the authentic look and feel of it. I will definitely be back soon!

The flora around the property is absolutely stunning. There are beautiful flowers and plants everywhere. There are well lit and concrete paths throughout the property as well as a hike up to the Gros Piton view. We were very impressed with the landscaping and ground maintenance. The cottage was okay. The patio furniture could be improved as well as the overall maintenance of the cottage. Our housekeeper Enalai was so kind and kept the cottage spotless! She made us fun towel and blanket animals everyday. The chocolate tour is worth the money and Clinton is very entertaining. Eroline and her husband are welcoming. The food could be improved, especially lunch and dinner options. We used the smaller three pools most of the time and we almost always had them to ourselves. We used Bryon as our taxi driver and he was the best tour guide!

Fabulous stay at Fond Doux. It’s the perfect rainforest-Island experience. The staff are excellent, friendly and very welcoming. We had a rental car to get around, visited lots of sites nearby, and loved coming back to Fond Doux. We will definitely return.

The property is beautiful, I loved the pools, and the nature trail had an incredible view. It was very peaceful and calm, with lots of options for tours and activities. The included breakfast was also very good. The cabin was nice but a little outdated, and we were told there were no room upgrades available. The front desk staff wasn’t very friendly, but everyone else was great. The location is close to many activities. However, the roads aren’t walkable and the hotel taxis were ridiculously expensive... you’re better off finding a local taxi driver.

The cabins are very nice. A bit rustic but clean, quiet and comfortable. The rain forest surroundings are beautiful. There is lush vegetation and pretty flowers. There are a few pools on the property. We didn't go in them very much because the water was quite cold. I wish they had a hot tub on site. The dining was fine. Breakfast is buffet style and is included in the price of the room. Lunch and dinner are available too as well as drinks from the bar. The prices for meals were reasonable and the food is good. Drinks are a bit expensive. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We thought the tours were expensive for what you got. Unfortunately, in St. Lucia it seems like there's a fee every place you visit and a requirement that you have a guide accompany you. Overall, this is a nice resort if you're looking for peace and quiet in a natural setting.

Overall our stay at this resort was lackluster - for a few reasons. We stayed two nights for $500/night and I've stayed at a lot of 3-star hotels; did not measure up whatsoever. 1. The buildings felt very outdated; the decor was fine but the fixtures/doors/walls/tiles were old and somewhat dirty. 2. We had no hot water in our room, it was lukewarm. I asked maintenance to take a look at it and they said that this was most likely the warmest it would get. They said they would check back in the AM (they didn't), and later when I mentioned it again we were moved to another room which also had no hot water. I know the staff tried to help so I don't blame them but no hot water at 500/night felt absurd. 3. The accent pillows were yellowed and yucky. Our regular pillows, bedding in the 2nd room smelled old and musty, like that smell when you leave wet clothes in the washer for too long. At that point I didn't want to be "those annoying people" so we said nothing about the no hot water/bedding. Other things: - Service at the restaurant was very slow. Food was excellent, my bf loved his seafood pasta. - Property was nice; you truly were in the middle of the jungle. Lots and lots of steps so not great for those with limited mobility. - Location was awesome: very close to Ladera (went there for dinner), the drive-in/walk-up volcano, Tet Paul nature hike and the chocolate experience. - Wifi was surprisingly strong, although unsecured network so our laptops struggled to connect
