It worked for us.

Overall it was a good stay. Plainfield Ave can be a bit loud at night. The place is roomy with the bedrooms on opposite sides of the house. It is on the first floor and there is a rental on the top floor. Lou was very easy to contact.

The space is very nicely put together and comfortable, and Louis was a great and responsive host. We were there for 3 months and would happily return for another stay.

Perfect for our needs

The property was exactly as advertised. Well stocked kitchen, decent bathroom, nice furnishings, plush towels. Lou is one of the most responsive hosts I have ever rented with. He addressed a problem that came up quickly and thoroughly. Parking was good. The traffic noise in the neighborhood got a little loud for sleeping a few times. We were in town for a family reunion and this met our needs. Thank you for a great stay!

Great location

We stayed here with our teenage son for just over 2 weeks. Nice quiet location with beautiful parks within walking distance. Good selection of shops, restaurants and takeaway also within short distance (we highly recommend the pizza from Angelina’s Tavern!). The house was well equipped. Everything we needed was provided with also some basic cooking and cleaning supplies which was really useful for our holiday stay. The AC and ceiling fans were a life saver in the summer heat! We spent a few days visiting New York, Newark and the jersey beaches. This house is perfectly located for exploring both New York and NJ. The host was excellent, great communication and checked in regularly with us. If there was anything we needed we felt he would’ve assisted us. We highly recommend Cedar Brook and would definitely stay here again.

Plainfield vacation

This is great place to unwind and recharge for someone looking for homelike setting. Lou’s place is very clean, and the host is the sweetest guy I ever met. The house is less than a mile from Plainfield train station and the bus stop to New York Port Authority Station is a few steps away. Beautiful place, perfect 2 bedrooms with a fully functional kitchen and a comfortable living area. Thanks Lou for everything you’ve done to accommodate us. May God bless you!

Great place!

Loved this place! Perfectly laid out for our needs, and well-appointed kitchen. Host was super responsive and kind. Close to the train, and lovely neighborhood. Note for those new to NJ - you’ll find shopping bags under the kitchen sink. Take them with you! Stores here do not give you bags.

Great time

The place was very clean and bigger than it seemed in the pictures. During my stay I had to get some work done and the work space was perfect for my office work. The host was great and we didn’t have any problems checking in or out. Thank you so much for everything!

Great stay

Lious’s place seemed like new. It was clean and had everything I needed for a longer stay. Parking was very easy and checkin very slick with the smart lock. Each room had an AC unit which kept the place comfortable. They were it but noisy but not too much for me. Good desks for getting some work done and great internet. Kitchen and laundry were great to use. Most importantly Louis was very responsive to any concerns.
