"Good things: lovely room & bathroom. Drink on them on arrival which was a lovely touch. Only downside was a droning noise at night coming from some power source, which made it difficult to sleep before about midnight when it stopped. It started again at 7.30am. We were in Delcombe room. Mixed breakfasts: my husbands full english he said was very good but my dippy eggs were not runny & my smashed avocado was overwhelmed with tomatoes, so much so that the sour dough toast was very soggy. "This is a lovely hotel in the perfect location for a visit to Christchurch. The premier room we had was huge and well appointed. The aircon was very useful in the hot weather we had. We got the early check in, which I recommend as it’s easier to find a parking spot earlier in the day. The staff were very friendly and even gave us a free welcome drink. We will definately stay here again."

"Booked for two nights, double room - pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a mini suite (Room 4, ground floor). Very handy as I am disabled. Amazing quality, touches to detail, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Continental breakfast was fab (ham, cheese, smoked salmon, cereals, croissants, milk, OJ etc - all high quality). No hesitation in HIGHLY recommending Grosvenor Lodge x"

"Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends."

"Pleasant stay at Grovefield Manor. Close to beach ~ 5 - 6 mins walk. Beautiful sandy beaches, clean and not crowded. Comfy beds and quiet area surrounding hotel. Breakfast good, no cooked breakfast but plenty of options including porridge, crumpets, muffins, cereals, fruit, yogurts, pastries. Very nice restaurant only a few doors away for dinner. "
