"Great Hotel right in the Skogafoss front yard. Get up early and you can have the falls to yourself. Excellent breakfast buffet. Clean room. Expensive restaurant (Iceland, middle of nowhere pricing). Tip: check in before going to the falls, and you won't have to pay the parking fee (get validated), since they share the same lot. Staff are nice and hardworking."

"This is a great little place to stay and not have to travel to see the northern lights. I stayed in one of the bungalows (the called it the chicken houses). Stay was comfortable, it is a small space so a bit crowded and the ceilings were short and sloped in so it made taking a shower a little challenging but still doable. The only turnoff for me was the sink was leaking from the drain pipe as well as one of the water lines going into the sink and the staff's response was to bring me towels....

We lucked out because an employee just happened to show up and she had to look us up on her phone to give us codes. The cabin was stifling hot, and there wasn't any way to change the room temperature. I had to open the wibdow which made things very loud and windy. The television didn't work. The only plus was the bed was...

"The advertising was misleading as we spent extra so we could have a hot tub, it was cold and dirty. There is no one on site so I emailed to see if they could fix it but no one replied. The rooms were fine and clean and the location was remote and pretty. Breakfast was ok, but only a couple hot items that were almost cold."

"Superior double room was quite spacious. Staffs are very nice. We stuck due to adverse weather which is usual in Iceland. They helped us with all the information, helped us in extending the stay. Rooms and bathrooms are really clean. Breakfast is quite good."
