"Beautiful, charming hotel. Loved our room overlooking the horses and the sunset. The staff (Victoria and crew, including the friendly chef), were wonderful. Don’t miss the spa, it’s included and was perfect after all day driving the Golden Circle."

"The advertising was misleading as we spent extra so we could have a hot tub, it was cold and dirty. There is no one on site so I emailed to see if they could fix it but no one replied. The rooms were fine and clean and the location was remote and pretty. Breakfast was ok, but only a couple hot items that were almost cold."

"Great Hotel right in the Skogafoss front yard. Get up early and you can have the falls to yourself. Excellent breakfast buffet. Clean room. Expensive restaurant (Iceland, middle of nowhere pricing). Tip: check in before going to the falls, and you won't have to pay the parking fee (get validated), since they share the same lot. Staff are nice and hardworking."

We lucked out because an employee just happened to show up and she had to look us up on her phone to give us codes. The cabin was stifling hot, and there wasn't any way to change the room temperature. I had to open the wibdow which made things very loud and windy. The television didn't work.
