"This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all...

"Beautiful property, exterior looks like manor house. Well maintained private garden where you can play with your dog or have a quiet read. Ample parking. Only grouse - our windows would not open and it was a bit stifling in the heat."

"I cannot thank Craig and Del enough. Last minute booking for myself, my sister, and my dogs. Phenomenal communication and clarity of instructions, brilliant parking space and sign posting. The apartment (Wainwright) beyond exceeded my expectations! Beautifully appointed, stunningly decorated, and so incredibly thoughtfully put together. The dog welcome box was a really sweet touch. Beds are comfortable, amenities are top notch- and I genuinely could not have been more stoked with what was a home...

What a find, from the moment I found The Rockefeller on Expedia to arrival through to the end of the stay everything was the best!!
Not going to gointo much detail as wouldn’t want to ruin anybody else’s experience but I will say you won’t be disappointed, everything about the apartment is funky, design led and luxurious from the furnishings to the artwork and even the kitchen and bathroom are of the highest spec.
