"Lovely decor, had a mix of modern and rustic which was lovely and some of the stone wall original features. It had everything you need, was warm and comfy. Beds were comfy and the shower was really good too. Lovely touch leaving little gift for the dogs, and the communication with the host was very good. We would rebook if we return to the area!"

"Was a nice and easy check in, very nice place and spacious enough, had everything we’d need.. only problem was the lack of cleanliness. Cob webs everywhere, dust and debris on the chairs and in creases of the bedroom suede walls, spiders in corners and cutlery provided has old food hardened within the cuts of the forks as it hasn’t been cleaned properly and left. Toilet also splashes water all over the seat when flushing causing the lid to be splattered with toilet water after every flush."

"We loved our stay here, it's perfectly located 5 minutes walk into Bowness and 20 minutes into Windemere.Communication between Liam and us was fab, you couldn't ask for more, although you didnt see him, you knew he was on hand.The apartment is nice, I needed to work a few days and the wifi was good enough to handle this really well.Although the apartment is a little tired, it has everything you need for a perfect stay.I would definitely stay here again."

"We had a lovely stay in apartment eight. Which is always very spic and span. It’s disabled friendly, which is I have balance problems suits me well. The walk in shower was especially helpful. We enjoyed a walk out and a couple of cycles. The community orchard on the way was fascinating. Sadly you can’t book the weather, but enjoyed ourselves nonetheless. We would thoroughly recommend Howgills Appartments."
