"Small family owned hotel. Located in a remote location, so very peaceful and quiet. In the evening there is a nice fireplace in the lounge. Perfect for a quick pre or post dinner hangout on a chilly night. Drive to the hotel is filled with scenic views of the water, rolling hills dotted with grazing sheep! "Beautiful location halfway between Portree and Uig, perfect for exploring the Trotternish peninsula. The premises are spotless and in excellent condition. The hosts were very accommodating and personable. Breakfast was delicious. Note: if you do not have a car, transportation could be tricky. Nearest restaurants are 20 minutes away by vehicle. Would stay again. Highly recommend Loch Eyre House!"

"The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed had a great view of the ocean. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The restaurant was elegant yet comfortable.
