Lovely but stark

This overly soft bed was located a long walk from town. The breaker kept popping when we plugged in toaster. Had to fiddle with it each time. It was a very pretty place yet loaded with tons of unnecessary fluff. Not very warm and homey.

Beautifully Appointed

Space is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. It’s just a studio kitchen, but I was able to cook complete meals because they had all the basics (oils, spices, utensils, etc). Communications with property manager was quick and helpful.

Great place to stay

Clean, cozy room with lots of light. Literally walking distance from the airport and a 20 minute beautiful walk over bridge to the center of Sitka. We had an extended stay visiting our son who is working in Sitka and would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic!

Every detail of this delightful cottage is perfect! I read another review that said that this property was just as pictured—it is! Everything was meticulously clean and well organized. If the owner is not an interior designer, he/she should be! The location of the property was perfect for us. We rented a car, so we were never in the car more than 5 minutes. It’s very close to the airport and downtown shopping. The only thing that I would add to this property is a very small microwave for reheating purposes. Other than that, it had everything we needed. I will definitely stay here on our next visit to Sitka!

The Perfect Long Weekend

This studio was the perfect place for a quick trip to Sitka! The private entryway was accompanied by a small private deck that felt homey and welcoming. There was some construction during the day, as this is a developing residential area but, the views of islands and harbors were incredible. The room was big enough to have distinguished spaces and not feel crowded. The studio was clean and the bed was made with fresh linens. The kitchen even came with a full-size fridge and all of the necessary cooking tools. It was conveniently located close to the airport, restaurants and the main town! As a host, Christine was responsive and answered our questions in a timely manner.

4 Sea's Cottage in Sitka Alaska is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay at in a wonderful neighborhood. It far exceeded our expectations as the decor and warmth of the Cottage reflects the family and their hospitality. We will be visiting Sitka often and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Great place for one -- expect noise as there is a quite a bit of home construction going on

The rental is clean, adorable, nicely decorated, comfortable, convenient and perfect for one person. The bed is pretty small (a full) and wouldn't be ideal for a regular sized couple who don't love to spoon all night. The place pretty much has everything you would need for a stay and it has nice water views. Be aware that it is a newly developed area and there is still quite a bit of home construction going on. If you are not out and about during the day, the constant hammering and machine noise might bother you. But it absolutely stops after 6 or 7 pm. And expect to see some operator lifts and construction equipment in your view shed. If some home construction in the immediate area doesn't bother you, this place is perfect. They really did a beautiful job with it! Also worth noting this was in July 2019 and the construction is obviously temporary and won't be ongoing. So if it's summer of 2020 when you read this, ignore that part! :)

Beautifully furnished and clean apartment. Inside is just how pictured online. Comfortable and cozy, great place to stay while in Sitka. Has everything you need for a stay. The owner/manager provides excellent customer service. The property looks exactly like the photos on VRBO site; such a wonderful surprise. This is now my favorite place in Sitka and will stay whenever I travel there (which is quite often for work). Highly recommend this place.

Perfect and brand new!!!

Amazing brand new property in a perfect location. This place is adorable!!! Soft bed, the owners provided the basics to get started like shampoo/paper towels etc. and it is an easy walk to the downtown. We loved it!!!
