Traumhafter Ausblick

We had a wonderful stay at Agrilos House. The property is tastefully furnished, has very comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and great bathroom shower. The house has a spacious terrace with commanding views of the mountains and coastline, although a large tree does unfortunately get in the way of the amazing sea view. The host (Despina) was easy to contact and provided information about the property and area in advance of our visit. We were also left a very generous welcome basket of local produce, which was a lovely touch. Myrsini is a small village set on the main road to Sitia, so there is occasional traffic noise, but it is not constant or too intrusive. Otherwise the location is peaceful and a real plus point is the village has a mini mart/coffee shop and a quaint taverna (Kathodon) only a couple of minutes walk from the house.

Wonderful appartment in a small village

We stayed a week in this beautifully decorated appartment and enjoyed it very much. The view from the terrace to the sea was gorgeous, especially the sunsets. A huge present basket with local gifts from the family awaited us as welcome, even the fridge was well filled. The village Mirsini is quiet and nice; a small supermarket and a very good tavern are in short walking distance. Many sights are in good distance; we visited Mochlos and the monastery Toplou, hiked the Richti gorge and the valley of the Dead, and made a beach day in Vai. The communication with our hosts was always quick and very friendly. Questions were answered immediately and personally, we even got some cake as a gift. The appertment isn't huge, but perfect for a family of 4. If we ever come to Crete again, we'll definetely consider returning to this wonderful and friendly place.

Objekt in wunderschöner Lage

Wunderbar. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

6 Nights in Mirsini

We had a wonderful time at Agilos house, it was very comfortable gave us a good base for exploring the east of Crete. Pantilis was excellent at answering any questions I had and gave us lots of useful local information. Nikos the owner was wonderfully generous with the welcome basket of goodies and it was a pleasure to meet him and his family-Cretes best asset - its people. A car is recommended if staying here as it is in the mountains and that means a great spot to watch the sunset. Enjoy as we did.

Very nice place in the Mountains to relax and enjoy holidays at best

Very stylish old, but mostly renovated house with a lot of history and unique equipement. We appreciated the extra-ordinary warm and personal welcome from Nikos very much. The received gifts in form of a variety of home made agricultural products (Fruits, vegtables, honey, different rakis, olive oil, wine, marmalade, Cookies a.m.m. we appricieted at best. Many thanks Nikos for your time and the excellent introduction on our arrival. Fresh air and water and the unforgettable sunset mood from the big terrace with view to the sea and bays towards Mochlos and Agio Nikolaos are really an additional asset and let our holidays to become unforgetabele. Many, Many thanks to you and your wife. Our best wishes and regards. Urs&Mayya P.s. Just one critical remark to mention is the bad smell in the bathroom, resulting from the sewerege system (probally in the whole village)

Awesome house in a lovely hillside village

The house is fantastic and we spent many an evening watching the sunset on the patio enjoying the view and drinking some of the owners wine. Beautifully appointed house. The owner has amazing welcome gifts of wine, raki biscuits, olive oil, olives and a fridge full of fruit and vege. You will not be disappointed. If anything the photo do not do justice. It is great.
