My overall review is as follows. The house size and comfort were excellent. It’s a lovely home, had a well equipped kitchen and we had plenty of space to spread out when needed. It was perfect for what we were looking for. And Simple Life, the management company was very responsive. However, just a couple of things to note: The cleaning and pet fees were very high. I have stayed in many VRBO’s over the years and the pet fee amount was not mentioned in the contract and was the highest I have ever paid. It was not until I fully paid that the amount was shared. We also had a broken toilet in one bathroom, and no heat in one section of the house. Although we just layered up, and were fine, we were told someone would be coming by to fix the heat and they never came. It was christmas week, so maybe there was a problem scheduling , but given the amount of money paid for this week stay, it was a little disappointing. But overall, the location was perfect and it’s a lovely home.
