"This is the best property we could have ever booked for our very first time in Curaçao. If you are looking for a very touristy area, Blue Bay Resort is not for you. However, if you are looking for a relaxing experience, family friendly and just a short drive to the best beaches you will ever see, this is the place to be. "First of all, although the Jan Thiel area overall is nicer, as a resort Blue Bay is great. It’s nice, safe and close to town. The check in experience was the worst: they weren’t expecting us (even though their own print out said check in on the 16th, they had written 17 on the paper). The property manager was quickly cleaning the unit (it wasn’t dirty but maybe not used for a little while). Worst of all they then told us that at the mid point of our stay we would have to move as somebody else...

"This was a fabulous place! My twin and I were staying here for the week and we hit gold with this place. Could not have asked for a better room or service! We were worried about being located right near the restaurant but it was not an issue and very quiet. The cleaning, cooking, and administrative staff were all attentive and pleasurable to work with. If we ever come back to 🇨🇼, we are staying here! It is locally owned and gives back to the economy unlike some other resorts/hotels in curacao....
