Apartment D425 at The Hills Residence, Simpson Bay

D425 is a 55 m² one-bedroom apartment on the second floor of Building 4 at The Hills Residence, a residence in Simpson Bay, on the Dutch side of Sint Maarten. It sleeps up to three guests and looks out over Simpson Bay lagoon.

Furnished and fully equipped, it works as well for a long weekend as for a stay of several weeks. The idea is simple: arrive, unpack, and enjoy the island without having to think about practical details.

Layout and bedrooms

The bedroom, set apart from the living room, is furnished with a king-size bed, a closet with hangers and curtains to darken the room.

The living area combines a lounge corner with a sofa and flat-screen TV, and a dining table for meals. A sofa bed in the living room can sleep one more person. The apartment has one bathroom with a shower, plus a separate toilet.

Light and view

There is no balcony; the living room windows bring in natural light and look towards the lagoon.

Kitchen and equipment

In the kitchen you have a hob with extractor hood, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator and a dishwasher, as well as an espresso machine, a kettle, a toaster and a blender. Crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and glasses, including wine and champagne glasses, are all there.

For everyday comfort there is air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, a washer-dryer, an iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. Bed linen, bath towels, beach towels and bathroom essentials are supplied.

Families can ask for a baby cot and a high chair. The apartment door has an electronic lock, and the apartment is fitted with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

The Hills Residence

Guests have access to the rooftop of the residence, with a swimming pool overlooking the lagoon. The buildings have an elevator and private parking, and the common areas are covered by outdoor cameras. The pool is open every day from 8 am to 8 pm, with sun loungers around it.

Location in Simpson Bay

The Hills Residence is in Simpson Bay, a lively area of the Dutch side known for its restaurants, bars, shops and marinas. Simpson Bay beach and Maho beach are a few minutes away by car, as is Princess Juliana International Airport.

The residence is built on a hill, which is what gives it its views, so we recommend renting a car for your stay. With a car you can also explore the rest of the island, from Philipsburg to Marigot and the beaches of the French side.

Practical information

Check-in is from 4 pm and check-out is until 11 am. D425 is well suited to couples, friends or a small family, with a maximum of three guests. Our team welcomes you on arrival and remains available throughout your stay.

An intermediate housekeeping service and extra towels can be booked during your stay. Combined with the full kitchen and the washer-dryer, this makes the apartment practical for long stays as well as short breaks.
