"This hotel is not cheap, double the price to others in the area - and in comparation to other hotels, has nothing else to offer beside being next to the beach. The majority of others hotels' breakfast is included for free. Here it is not, and do not even ask for coffee, it's better to go to a deli 4 block away (faster) The king room is very small. :("

"The air conditioning was out and we were not made aware until after we had already arrived. We were not offered a fan or any way to stay cool other than opening the window if we happened to be put in a room that allowed the windows to be opened."

"Perfect location for the LIRR and subway J specifically. Neighborhood a little rough. The hotel awesome then you walk outside. The city is constantly cleaning unfortunately doesn't stay like that. The staff does amazing for keeping clean the breakfast team they all work so hard. Biggest hiccup 1 elevator was down so we only had 1 elevator the othere for staff it was a very very long wait."

"I had a very disappointing experience with the airport shuttle service. It took the shuttle driver an hour and a half to pick me up from the airport. During that time, I called the hotel at least six times to ask for an update, and each time I was simply told that the driver was “on the way.” It was 3:00 a.m., and being left waiting that long with no accurate information was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I hope the hotel improves its shuttle service and communication with guests."

"It turned out better than I expected it was going to. The neighborhood is completely unappealing except that it was close to JFK and very close to our family. There are no amenities to speak of. There is no lobby, just a closet in a hallway that has been converted to a manager’s booth, where he is completely locked in and transacts through bullet-proof glass. The room, however, was small but perfectly clean and recently renovated. There is no lamp, no fridge, etc., but it was comfortable...
