Acerca de este alojamiento
2 Bed in Shrewsbury (oc-77771)
- Located 5 miles from historic Much Wenlock, and Ironbridge which boasts ten museums, independent shops, pubs and restaurants, not forgetting the world-famous iron bridge. Fishermen can appreciate the River Severn, with permits available in town. Walkers can enjoy numerous paths along the Ironbridge Gorge and in the Shropshire Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This landscape of rolling hills and river valleys offers cycling, golf, coracle and hang gliding to mention just a few of the activities. Savour the delights in local eateries, attend events and visit museums, galleries and National Trust properties such as Attingham Park, Benthall Hall and Dudmaston or head to the historic town of Shrewsbury, there’s always something to see and do here.
The former cattle shed is full of surprises with lovely high ceilings, exposed beams, quirky features alongside the thoughtful little luxuries such as the underfloor heating and the log burner. The front door leads into the open plan living area with kitchen/lounge/diner flooded with natural light and French doors opening onto the patio. Should you decide to eat in, the kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer. There is a separate shared utility with washing machines and tumble dryers. The dining table is the perfect setting for you to enjoy a meal together and plan your holiday activities in this beautiful area. After dinner relax on the sofas and open the French doors to embrace the view, watch your favourite TV programme or film, lose yourself in a good book or just chat the night away, maybe by the glow of the log burner for cosier nights in. Walk through to the corridor to take a leisurely shower is the stylish shower room with shower and WC. After a full day out retire to one of the bedrooms, the welcoming king-size with TV or the lovey twin, both have been designed for a good nights’ sleep to wake up refreshed.
Outside there is an enclosed garden with pretty borders, patio, table and chairs, and the brick built charcoal BBQ, perfect for morning coffee or alfresco dining to embrace the fabulous views over the rolling Shropshire Hills. Listen to birdsong, watch the wildlife and star gaze on a clear night. You are welcome to explore the farm and meet the cows though ask the owner for more information. Private parking at the property for two cars. A secure shed is available if you need to store bicycles, motor cycles, fishing tackle or even kayaks.
