"unfortunately, this hotel was a very let down for the price. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which was never mentioned on the Expedia listing. The corridors were dusty and strong paint fumes, which brought on my astnma. If I had known about the building works, I wouldn't have booked. ​The room quality was also disappointing. Our bath towel had noticeable fake tan/makeup stains on it, and the room layout was poorly thought out, there was no plug socket near the kettle that actually...

"The truest test of a review is would we stay there again? The answer to that is sadly a no. Nothing particularly wrong, just not really a good value all things considered in the end. The property is well positioned in the city for access to grocery, chain restaurants, coffee houses and the #8 bus. There is a busy street, particularly popular on weekends nearby. The place was very clean, smelling of bleach when we arrived, however bleach wasn’t wiped away near a counter and one of us ended up...

Tuttavia, ho riscontrato una serie di problematiche nell'albergo: - lenzuola sporche, sia appena entrato in stanza, sia la sera, dopo che avevo richiesto un cambio delle lenzuola; - asciugamani sporchi; -adattatore della presa elettrica non funzionante; - la finestra non si apriva e non poteva esservi ricircolo...

"Fantastic staff, superb location and well equipped, if surprisingly dated rooms (by Marriott standards). Excellent, varied breakfast and good facilities. Marked down because the air conditioning in the rooms was nowhere near cool enough during a heatwave and because the food served for lunch/dinner was truly awful, embarrassingly so. I tried two separate dishes, the first was completely inedible and the second was, at best, cheap pub fare for an unjustifiable premium."
