"We stayed here for 3 nights during October. Our first impression was very positive. we liked the design and spaciousness of the house. We were happy to receive complementary drinks. "家族3人＋ペット1で利用しました。 他の方のレビューでもあるようにクーラーはないので猛暑日は扇風機持参をお勧めします。 また施設周辺に野生動物のフンが落ちており、夜間の施設外への出歩きは警戒した方がいいかもしれません。 小雨でしたが、タープテントも備え付けてあり問題なくBBQ出来ました。"

"Loved staying here, Yoshiko was so lovely, she went above and beyond to make us comfortable. She gave us fruits and snacks everyday, and even drove us to the train station at the end of our stay. We will definitely stay again when we come back to Nikko!"

"This accomodation is a genuin japanese experience with the cutest old couple as hosts. If you are looking for a modern and convenient accomodation this is not for you, BUT if you are looking for unique place to stay on the country side this is the place. We had a good stay for two nights. Having a car is probably a must to get around. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this house located just off the main street in Nikko. The owner is very kind and responsive. It is a large house with three large bedrooms, a living room area, a separate full kitchen, large bathroom with washer, and lots of windows. I liked that the main living area is on the first floor (not the ground level) and the bedrooms are on the second level. The ground level is the garage. You do have to climb stairs to get in and out of the house but that wasn’t an issue...

"Our stay at Guesthouse Koundo was excellent. It’s a beautiful home located, in our opinion, in the best spot in Nikko as it is easy to walk to the popular areas as well as catch the bus to go up to the mountain. There are also wonderful neighborhood restaurants to try within walking distance. It’s in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful nature.
