"It was a great place to stay and was close to the subway. 15 minute walk to a large shopping area with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Property was clean and staff was very welcoming. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Kyoto. "

Walking to main downtown area only 15 min. Other restaurants nearby within 5 min. Washer/dryer combo machine in room very convenient, don't need to go outside for community laundry. "This hotel provided our family of four with a a great stay. The family apartment was reasonably priced and very large. The hotel is a 2minute walk from the main train station. There are buses that will take you to all the main sights leaving regularly from the station. There is a large shopping centre at the station and everything you need within walking distance of the hotel. Highly recommend this property for families. "

"We loved the very spacious and clean room. It was very convenient to have washer in the room since we traveled as a family. Kids enjoyed the Karaoke in common area. It was a nice stay and we would definitely stay here again if we have a chance."

"It's hard to find a large hotel room to accommodate 5 people in Japan. The Mimaru was perfect. One of the largest rooms we've seen. Everyone had their own space and bed. The 2 toilets also made it really private and convenient. We ate at the restaurants around the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful with all of our questions. The gym, although small, provided all the equipment that we needed. The location was central to everything in Kyoto. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Excellent hotel. The staff were very helpful with reserving restaurants and karaoke. The also made good suggestions and we ate the best meals at good prices with their help. The room is convenient for a family with two children. I wish that the room had Netflix smart tv. I also wish that there was more privacy between the kids and adults. Fantastic staff. Very useful."
