A Few House Rules:
Pets are not allowed at this property. There is absolutely no smoking allowed in the house. Smoking outside may take place only with all doors and windows closed, all cigarette butts must be disposed of directly into the outside trash cans. No bachelor or bachelorette parties or other “drinking focus“ parties. No large groups for everyone or most people are 30 years of age or younger.

Overall, it was a great experience! All had fun and loved the place. Inside and out. We had a family reunion there and this was the meeting place for everyone. (Several families stayed at resorts and cabins in the area). Plenty of room for visiting, playing games, eating, and sleeping. The king size beds were comfortable. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the parking. It is probably big enough for 10-12 cars but for several cars it’s not big enough. We had to park cars at a convenience store about a mile down the road and taxi people to and from the VRBO. Or when someone needed to leave we had to move cars in and out of driveway which was a bit frustrating but not a deal breaker.The hot water in the kitchen was a hit or miss. Sometimes it was hot sometimes not. But that’s all the negative. I would definitely recommend “the Lake Mansion” That is what the children called it.

This is my second time staying at this property. The pictures are exactly what it looks like inside. The owners are extremely helpful. We had a small issue on check-in and got it fixed immediately. Highly recommend.

I planned for my executive Team to stay at this property and they had a phenomenal time. There were no issues and the highlight for them was the game room! They had the absolute best time refueling. We appreciate it!

This house was perfect. It was big enough for all 24 of us. I have 5 children and 13 grandkids. It was a great layout with the split game room and living room. Kids playing in the game room and the rest of us having adult conversations in the living room. Had a couple of issues come up and was handled immediately. (only reason I gave the location a 4 was because it wasn't lakeside.LOL) I really had no complaints.

This was a great house for our family reunion. The game room is amazing and was enjoyed by all of us. My only suggestion is that the bar needs to be secured. We had two incidents of a section almost tipping over. Both involving adults. I ended up with a bruised foot, if a child were to lean or grab the edge it could tip over on them causing serious injury. Jeff was an excellent host, very easy to communicate with and willing to address any issues that arose. Great location, close to the lake. Convenience store on the corner is handy for anything you forgot. With Walmart and Brookshires about 15 minutes away. FYI house description does not list paper products in the amenities, which I over looked, so bring toilet tissue and paper towels for your stay. Lots of hot water, towels, and comfy beds. My only suggestion is some WD40 for the squeaky doors.

Beautiful, clean, well appointed house with the perfect layout for large groups! We were there with a group of 20 and the downstairs game room was large enough for everyone to be together without being cramped. The furniture was clean and comfy. The pantry is fantastic!!! No food piled on the kitchen counters because there was plenty of space to store it away. Comfortable, clean beds. Jeff was a great communicator!

Great location and the host was very responsive. Exactly what I'd want the experience to be. The advert is an accurate description of the property and what to expect. Be prepared to bring your own toiletries (not advertised as being provided) and wash cloths. Would definitely return and recommend.

Property was very nice and clean. It looks just like the pictures. There’s plenty of space for big groups. We had 14 people and still plenty of extra beds and places to sleep. Highly recommend and would stay again.

The house is very large and accommodates a large group. It is very pretty inside and out. We enjoyed our time there with family but there were some issues. The house needs a deep clean inside and outside. The large sectional in game room is stained and ripped in several places. The sleeper sofa we decided not to use as when we lifted up the cushions there was food and coins. The group before us may be to blame. The carpet also has several stains. The kitchen is moderately stocked, 1 or 2 oven mitts and small amount of dish towels. The appliances need attention. Then there was the issue of the birds in the fireplace that were loud enough to disturb you upstairs. Also a dead bird in the bottom of the fireplace. Bring your own toilet paper and paper towels. They provide a minimal amount and when I asked where more was stored I was informed that is the guest responsibility. The Pac-Man game didn't work the whole time of our stay. The beds are very comfortable and we slept well. I wish I could give the home five stars but with a few issues fixed it could be a five star. It is in a great area for you to spend time at the lake and with family.

Overall very pleased. Birds in the chimney very loud, but didn’t want to hurt them. Freezer of fridge not working properly. Would recommend for future rental. Extra fridge/freezer and more cleaning supplies would be nice. Had lots of towels which was great!

I would give this location 6 stars if I could. The house is huge, with all kinds of stuff for adults, kids and teens. The lake is beautiful, though access is not very convenient. The teens liked being able to walk down the road and buy treats at the corner store. Excellent time.
