"I must admit I was slightly wary of staying here after reading all the complaints about noise, but as it turned out, I had nothing to worry about! The hotel and surroundings were quiet - even during an England match! I suspect it depends on whether the students in neighbouring accommodation blocks are around, so perhaps factor that into your decision. But for relatively cheap accommodation, with breakfast included, you can't go far wrong with the Jonas!"

"The hotel is looking a bit tired and in need of an update. The room was fine...no safe, furniture a bit tatty and some black mould around the bath/shower. Only 1 dressing robe and slippers in the room, although booked as a couple. Room service was a bit random. The sandwiche that arrived was not great, with a tired piece of lettuce, 2 small tomatoes and some tortilla chips. Breakfast was again fine but nothing to write home about. "This hotel really did represent value for money on a weekend where the city was busy due to a famous comedian performing. The hotel is central and only a five minute walk from the train station. "The room was clean and quiet and the staff helpful. It was very hot and as there was no aircon we were grateful for the fan provided. We had tea and coffee provided but no kettle or spoons. "AVOID! On arrival we got our keys from the keylock which was a simple process. When entering the apartment it completely stunk of cigs and w - as if people had been in there for days smoking.
