Explore las famosas Cavernas de Luray o tome un corto viaje a la casa de Thomas Jefferson. Tal vez solo relájese, pesque o lea un buen libro. Esta cabina sin duda creará recuerdos para toda la vida.
    Papa Bear's River Cabin es de propiedad familiar y construida por el Sr. Ron Hensley y su hijo Tony Hensley. El valle de Shenandoah es un lugar hermoso y nos encanta compartir la belleza natural de la zona con nuestros huéspedes.
    Ya sea que esté buscando el lugar perfecto para ir de pesca, o simplemente para disfrutar de la vista pacífica del río Shenandoah y las impresionantes vistas de las montañas circundantes, ¡se enamorará de la cabaña del río Papa Bear!

Great home very comfortable with beautiful Mountain View’s. The beds were comfortable and host provided clean fluffy white towels. Great for kids as there were lots of board games and books.

The host was great and understanding when bad weather struck on our first attempt to stay here. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable, with beautiful views!

The cabin was so nicely decorated with a bear theme all around. The cabin was spacious and clean. Fishing in the river was great. The hot tub was perfect. The views were spectacular. Communication was excellent. We can not wait to book this cabin again.

What a beautiful and quiet getaway! The river view added so much to our stay. So much wildlife the 2 photographers had trouble keeping up with it all. Hotdogs and marshmallows over the firepit just added to our wonderful experience. We will definitely return next year!

Super clean beautiful cabin. Perfect place to stay near the park. Grocery store 14 minutes away. The river has a ton of fish. Great fishing. Bonnie the hostess is sweet and extremely responsive, a really great lady. Thank you for sharing your families cabin. There are too many bear decorations inside to count! So fun. Wish we could have stayed longer. Its on our list for a return visit.

Beautiful cabin and surroundings! The cabin has a hot tub and fireplace, which further enhanced our experience. Very quiet riverfront setting with deck overlooking the water and rolling green grass. No immediate neighbors. We would love to come back again!

What a great get away with our 5 young grandsons. great river access. The grounds are so private with tons of land for active boys to run around and blow off energy. Felt very safe at all times. Great communication with the owner. The beds were comfortable and enough appliances and cookware for our 3 night stay. Would recommend this house for a short term stay

Just Beautiful

I loved that there was no other homes nearby that we could see The cabin was beautiful and so was the river we enjoyed the wildlife all around The caverns were also fun to visit

The cabin was a great get away for 5 outdoorsy guys celebrating a bachelor’s weekend. Property owner had nice mowed pathway to easily gain access to the river to fish. Also, a nice spot on the river bank to catfish with already installed rod holders. The cabin was private with no disturbance from neighbors. Only had vehicle traffic on the backroad. The cabin came with two grills and charcoal and propane, but both need grate replacement. However, with aluminum foil we made it work. Then inside of the cabin was very nice and organized. I would definitely go back to this cabin

We loved staying at this Cabin. It was very clean and came with all the needed amenities for a great weekend trip to the mountains. We loved the location!
