We have it set up to where these cameras only work when the security system is activated so you do not need to worry about anyone being big brother. They are not monitored, there is no sound and there is no recording unless alarm system is activated. The Ring camera on the carport only sees the driveway and is for deliveries. The property is secluded and in a very safe area. You will go down a three-quarter of a mile paved road with nothing on either side and turn onto a cul-de-sac with only four homes and our home is at the point - there are no trailer parks or campgrounds with campers anywhere in the vicinity.
