Small Charming Cottage set in a beautiful wooded setting. The big slider off the living room gives views of woods and nature. People who have stayed here have seen deer, raccoons, fox, woodpeckers, and listen to the sounds of whippoorwills in the evening. There is a small patio out back, with outdoor seating and grill, with a fire pit near by. It is Private and romantic yet still close to Silver Lake, Stoney Lake and Lake Michigan. Equipped with full kitchen, bath, and laundry.

Very clean and cozy place. Host very helpful and friendly. Tucked back in the woods, not too far off the road, but you wouldn’t know because of all of the foliage, very relaxing and enjoyable cottage.

Nice little place. Perfect for 1 or 2 people. Very clean. Good location close to Silver Lake and sand dunes, but not too close. Close to several nice golf courses, parks, nature preserves. There's an excellent bakery just east of the cottage. The bed is comfortable. Two types of pillows to choose from. Large closet. Nice washer & dryer. Nicely stocked kitchen, but bring aluminum foil if you need it. Nice gas grill and bistro set on the deck. Nice firepit. Owner gave us some wood and we bought more nearby for a good price. He also gave us some cucumbers and zucchini he grew. Very nice man. Only thing we didn't like was the noise from the somewhat busy road. You couldn't see it, but you could hear it. Property is private. Couldn't see neighbors. Would stay again.

Ideal getaway

We have often been at this VRBO! Clean and conveniently located and always find many things to do. On this visit we met Shelly and Ron. We were blessed by Ron who met us in Whitehall to return an item we had left behind. We will happily return as this place always meets our needs! The plus is the delicious bakery just down the road

Perfect Cozy Cabin near Silver Lake Sand Dunes

Place was perfect, definitely set up as a couples cabin, as in for two people. Hosts were very hospitable and friendly. If you're looking for a nice getaway with your s.o. near Silver Lake, highly recommend here!

Fantastic Cottage

This property and property owners are perfect. The cottage is well equiped, in a terrific and peaceful location. Close to the shore and a great spot for some much needed rest and relaxation.

Bike trip

The property was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was extremely clean and functional. The weather did not cooperate during our 4 night stay; it was either cold, rainy, windy or all three combined. However, we were able to get in 2 bike rides on the nearby Hart-Montague trail and explore the nearby towns. And because the cottage was so pleasant, we also were able to enjoy the quiet and peacefulness of the property during the less than desirable weather.

Our group, the White Lake Area Climate Action Council enjoyed your space for our steering committee retreat. It was perfect for four people. We enjoyed the intimacy of the space and the wooded setting. We even ventured for a walk in the 15 degree temps. Lovely spot. Thank-you!

The coziest charming cabin…stay here!

The cabin is so cozy and I love how the backward was woods. The bed was comfy and my spouse is in a wheelchair and he was able to get around the cabin easily. There is the Fox Barn winery, Farmhouse Restaurant, Stoney Lake Inn restaurant, silver lake sand dunes, and the best breakfast sandwiches at the dune store! Our stay was perfect…I can’t wait to stay here again. The perfect couples cabin. The hosts really pay attention to detail! It was perfect!
