Bathroom very clean apart from the shower doors needs a lot of attention to the bottom of the doors very unclean. Lots of little luxuries such as fresh milk in the rooms along with hand creams, automatic bathroom lighting, complimentary glass of bubbles, in a environment that is an oasis of calm. "What a great hotel. Can't say enough positive things about my experience. Room was lovely, clean, good value, great location and ambience, but the service and food were even better. I had early starts both mornings of my stay and it was not too much bother for Helen on the front desk and Paul?, the chef to open the kitchen slightly early for me. The food was wonderful and good value and Helen couldn't have been more helpful. This is what an independent hotel / restaurant should be like. Thanks...

"The room was pristine, the staff were professional and friendly. The pool was quiet and the areas clean. The food was exceptional, well presented and fresh. Unfortunately i had a fall on our last night outside the theatre, the hotel staff provided ice, towels and couldn't have been more kind and caring for which i am so grateful. The whole stay was very good value. "

"We wanted somewhere close to Hillsborough Stadium, and The Queens Ground fit the bill perfectly. Our room above the pub was clean, comfortable, and quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The pub itself is a proper local’s boozer - warm, welcoming, and full of character, with reasonably priced drinks. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Would happily stay again."
