I took this in Nuuk, Greenland in August 2018.. More specifically at the Nuuk Port and Harbour, the largest port in Greenland. Nuuk is the capital city of Greenland and I really enjoyed my few days there. Its easy to walk around and there's beautiful views on all sides :). I took this photo from a hill near my guest house. I had a nice walk up there and got some pretty awesome views. The mountains were breathtaking and the waters pristine and gorgeous! Nuuk Port and Harbour is located in Old Nuuk, the picturesque old part of town. The harbour entrance is restricted due to the tide during much of the year and ice during winter. The inner port area is home to a marina for smaller vessels and ferry and larger vessels to the east side of the port area. And Nuup Kangerlua is a 160 km (99.4 mi) long fjord. It is the longest fjord on the Labrador Sea coast of Greenland, and one of the longest in the inhabited part of the country. I also took a wonderful boat ride on it, as well. As shown in a couple of my other photos :).
On the Nuuk fjord in Western Greenland! Taken on September 1st. This was one of my favorite days in Greenland, as I took a memorable boat ride on the fjord! The mountain featured here is Sermitsiaq, probably the most iconic mountain in Greenland. The map location is only approximate. It's somewhere on the fjord between Nuuk and Sermitsiaq/Sadelø Island.
On the Nuuk fjord in Western Greenland! Taken on September 1st. This was one of my favorite days in Greenland, as I took a memorable boat ride on the fjord! This iceberg is one of it's most wonderful views :). The map location is only approximate. It is somewhere in that area of the fjord.
