"Especially if it is your first time visiting Ulaanbaatar and you have not acquired the local language, I highly recommend the accommodation. "The apartment is awesome, not just a tourist bed but a lovely equipped flat looking like someone is regulary living there. Mende was there to handover the keycard in time and as agreed via WhatsApp - even earlier than the official check in time, what was perfect after an 18 hour travel. The 22nd floor is nicely quiet at night far away from the busy road. It's a gated community with security service and it's super safe. "I booked Welcome Happy Guest House via Expedia for June 13–15 and emailed multiple times about check-in around 2:45 AM on June 14—but received no reply. When I arrived, there was no reservation, the owner was unreachable, and I was left stranded with nowhere to stay. This was unprofessional and felt like a complete scam. Avoid this place at all costs."
