Lovely Private Sunny Cabin Home With Woods, Meadow and Wildlife. Pet friendly.

This lovely home on nearly 4 acres in the country, yet close to town, provides the perfect place to relax from all your daily duties in the real world. It was built in 1998 and was recently remodeled with an updated cabin vibe. The downstairs includes the master and guest bedrooms and one bathroom that is accessible outside the master bedroom. The master bath features a shower, sink and toilet in a separate space from an additional sink in its own space, so two can get ready at one time. There is a mudroom with a stacked washer/dryer unit on this level. The upstairs open floor plan with wall-to-wall windows offers a great perch from which to view the visiting Elk and Bald Eagles that frequent the area, while you dine, read, or enjoy wine on the deck. The kitchen is well appointed with appliances for preparing food for dining in. This level offers a second bath with a jetted tub, and a view of the forest while you relax and soak. Additionally there is a small sitting room with views of the walking paths through the woods, which can double as an extra bedroom for two people. Walk the woods, stroll the garden or entertain on the upper deck or lower patio in this peaceful quiet place you will not want to leave.
When you do leave for food or entertaining activities, you are only a short mile and a half drive or bicycle ride from many restaurants, shops, the art gallery and farmer's market just to name a few. Additionally the area has wonderful bike paths, community theater, The Voice of America Dungeness Recreation Area and The Spit, Railroad Bridge Park, John Wayne Marina, The Olympic Game Farm, and the Seven Cedars Casino.

Beautiful, private location and conveniently located to town. The hike was well appointed, the communication with our host was great. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. I would caution, if you have any issues with your hips and/or knees, be aware that there is a flight of stairs up to the kitchen & living room area of the home, this was of no issue to us, but could be for others.

Had an awesome time! Great views from the back deck. Saw various wildlife every day and heard coyotes at night and a bald eagle swung in to top off the week! Had amazing star lit skies every night! Olympic Park is great for those who want to get to the outdoors and this house is a great base to get you there!

Had a great stay at David's house. The house was very clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable after a long day of hiking. And what a setting - we got to sit on the couch and watch deer and bald eagles. Will definitely stay again when we return to the Olympics!

Great quiet property to get away from everything and close to everything you want to visit.

Very quiet beautiful place saw some deer, saw some bald eagles for the first time. It was close enough to the park where everything we wanted to do was within an hour and a half. We will definitely be back.

Retreat Tranquility

Excellent host and beautiful home nestled in the outer area of Sequim with open views to the surrounding area. Minutes from downtown and quiet area for relaxing on the deck and inside the well equipped house. Host (Dave) made it a simple process for check in and out. The house had everything you need for a short and long stay. We will return 5 Star .

Excellent weekend stay

We had a great time at this property. It is in a perfect location, close to town and the national park and yet secluded and private. We saw deer both days we stayed there, and the views are very soothing and relaxing!Communication with the owners was excellent as well. The house is very spacious and has everything you need!

Perfect!

The host was extremely helpful and attentive. The location was perfect for exploring Olympic Nat'l Park and surrounding area. The cabin was clean, easy to find, and quiet. Hope we get the opportunity to stay here again sometime soon. Highly recommend!
