"A beautiful setting with wonderful staff, even if one or two lacked attentiveness. The bamboo bungalow was beautiful. The bed and beddings were 5/5; very comfortable. Unfortunately, the accolades stop there. Because the "retreat" is so remote, there are no other eating options nearby so guests have to rely on the hotel restaurant. "Stayed in Villa Ayana. Clean and modern - but they are relatively new villas. I do hope they keep them maintained. Has everything you need. Water pressure was a little alarming at first but it just takes a while before the pressure kicks in. My advice, start the shower and then brush your teeth while you wait. It will seem ok at first and go to a drizzle and then the pressure comes back. Staff are wonderful, helpful and attentive. When our son had a fever and we required a doctor, they contacted...
