A comfortable home away from home in Mallard Lakes. I manage my own property in order to provide lower fees, personal touch and to ensure a wonderful stay.

Two bedrooms; 1 full bath, 1 half bath, and outside shower; sleeps 7 inside. (8 if 2 are small children.) Large oversized tub great for a relaxing soak.

Our home is bright, sunny and nicely decorated. Mallard Lakes is a quiet, lake front home with an amazing view. Our amenities include two pools, a hot tub, tennis, basketball and pickle ball courts, volleyball , horseshoe pits, and docks perfect for fishing or launching a kayak. There are also playgrounds for the little ones. After your relaxing morning sitting outside on the patio overlooking the beautiful lake, take your choice of either OC or DE beaches. The closest beach is less than two miles away with ample parking. At the end of your day, enjoy a nice outdoor shower and then enjoy cooking in a beautiful kitchen complete with everything you could possibly need. Don't feel like cooking? Enjoy your choice of restaurants and shopping close-by. Convenience is why we chose this location and want our guests to enjoy it as much as we do and to keep coming back.

Our units includes board games and a nice selection of books and magazines to keep you entertained. We also supply tennis rackets and beach chairs for your convenience.

**Our summer weekly rentals run from Sunday to Sunday to help our guests avoid the high traffic on Saturdays coming in and out of the area. We will consider a shorter stay on the fringe months. Feel free to ask, if you would prefer a shorter stay by messaging me.

*Mallard Lakes community requires that renters obtain a Weekly Amenity Pass at the Main Office. The fee for this pass is $150.00, effective 2025 and permits access for 6 individuals to all amenities at Mallard Lake for the week. Price subject to change. This fee is paid directly to the Mallard Lakes community. Upon your arrival, stop in the office located at the front pool.

We do NOT allow pets or smoking.

Check in is 4pm and Check out is 10am. If cleaner is done earlier, I will contact you for an early check-in.

This was our first time renting in Mallard Lakes and it was a great experience. The home was exceptionally clean and stocked with all the amenities we could need for the week. The communication with the owner was super easy and thorough both prior to and during our stay. We especially loved the screened in porch overlooking the lake, and the community had lots of fun activities. Our only disappointment was that our stay felt too short. We will 100% be back!

Highly recommend!! My family and I had a wonderful time staying here. The house was perfect for our family of 5 ( 3 toddlers 3 and under and 2 adults) perfect location near OC New Jersey and also DE beaches. Josie was wonderful helping answer all of our questions and giving us recommendations for things to do in the are during our stay. We will definitely be back next summer!!

Everything about our trip and stay at this property was absolutely perfect. The communication with the owner was open, honest, and very welcoming. It was a perfect experience and one that my family and I are looking forward to doing again as soon as possible. This was my first time booking a vacation online or through any service and it was better than I could’ve hoped for! My family and I have all made the statement and agreement that this was something that we could see ourselves doing every year for a very long time! We cannot say enough great things about the experience that we had at this property with this owner!

This was the third year my four friends and I have stayed at Josie’s rental. We absolutely love it here. Very clean and attention to detail. We had a few issues that were resolved promptly. Communications with Josie and her husband were immediate. We plan to stay here again in a year or two.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Rapp’s beach house. It was clean and decorated very beach and cute. The location is perfect. Close to the Delaware State Park in Fenwick Island for the beach. Will definitely stay at the beach house again.

Mallard Lakes is an amazing hidden gem! Just minutes from the hustle and bustle of Fenwick, Ocean City, and Bethany, but in a quiet community that offers many amenities, including two outdoor pools. Josie was a wonderful host, responding quickly to any questions. I would certainly recommend staying here! 😊

We are five senior ladies in our 70s. We absolutely love Josie’s townhouse. We’ve rented at Mallard Lakes for many, many years. Josie’s is the nicest of all the rentals we’ve stayed at in 12 years. Very clean and lots of attention to detail, like multiple towel racks in the bathroom and hooks outside for beach towels. We loved sitting outside on the patio for morning coffee and at lunch time. We will definitely rent from Josie next year.

We just left this place after 9 days, and we're sad to go. We loved it! It's so quiet and relaxing, but close to beaches,boardwalks, shopping, casino ect. There's so much to do on the grounds of the apartment pools x2, hot tub,volleyball, basketball, horse shoes,tennis, corn hole, shuffle board, ride bikes, playgrounds,set out and enjoy the lake. The condo is so nice and relaxing and Josie is AMAZING and is there anytime you need her. She's very sweet and pleasant to deal with; always makes you feel welcome! We've rented several places down in this area; average twice a year in this area, and this is the first place I honestly can say I can't wait to come back, and stay in this place again!!

Centrally located on the state line between Maryland and Delaware, this location was ideal to hope between multiple locations throughout our stay. Bethany Beach, Rehobeth Beach, Maryland Beach, Ocean City, Washington D.C., miniature golf, grocery stores, Delaware State Park etc. Communication with the owner was done over email, no concerns. Prompt updates provided on what to expect on arrival and departure. The unit itself had everything our family of four needed for the week. Plenty of space, comfortable furniture/beds and easy to use appliances and electronics. This was a nice place to relax after taking day trips around the area. Having the pool ($) was an added bonus after the day at the beach. I'm glad we stumbled on this listing as we looked for places in the Ocean City area.
