We had a great 2 week stay. The cottage was cozy with a very comfortable bed. Donna provided everything we could need. I loved being close to the Joe Rodato trail and walked into town. An excellent stay!

Quiet street with exception of morning roosters! Bathroom and kitchen in need of deep clean. Tons of spices and condiments, but some with very old expiration dates. Some of the pans and stove hood felt quite greasy. Bathroom shelves and under sink cluttered. TV instructions were obsolete. Could not figure out tv, so watched on my tablet. This vrbo is well priced and well located to wineries and grocery store. We used some vegetables from the garden. Nice perk. Just needs a little TLC for a top rating.

We had such a lovely stay at this property! The home was incredibly clean, comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. The host was kind, responsive and genuinely helpful, which made the experience even better. The property itself is beautiful. It was such a treat to relax there and even pick fresh fruits and vegetables. They had a BBQ for outdoor meals and the overall atmosphere made it like a true home away from home. The home is conveniently located for exploring the best of the region, a short drive to the coast, the redwoods and the wine country. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and well appointed getaway.

A Very Considerate Owner

Donna, the owner, has stocked the unit with just about everything you would have at your finger tips at home. Games, wine bar, personal items; I could go on and on. She was also very responsive getting back to me when I had a question about the unit. I would not even consider looking for another unit if I return in the future!!!!

Anniversary Get Away

The little one bedroom house was perfect for us. A great location, very comfy bed and lovely property. Wish the weather had been a little warmer so we could have enjoyed the outdoor space. Would have liked to have a traditional coffee maker.

Comfortable and Quiet

Our stay at the little cottage in Sebastopol was especially comfortable and relaxing. Located on the outskirts of town, it is very quiet and private, and at the same time close to beautiful walking trails that we enjoyed as well as an easy drive to Muir Woods, beaches and fun towns like Pt. Reyes where we had two excellent meals. We also loved the short walk to Andy’s grocery in the morning for coffee and a doughnut. Everything you will need is provided, but if you should be missing something, Donna and Keith are close by to help.

A perfect convenient cozy private guesthouse in magical Sebastopol, Ca.

This was our 4th winter visiting friends in Sebastopol, our new home away from home.We loved our 3 week stay at Donna and Keith's Hodge Podge Lodge located behind their house at the end of the country lane. It was convenient to downtown, grocery stores, shopping, entertainment, and all of surrounding wonders of Sonoma County wine country, Redwoods, and coast. We loved that we could walk everywhere. Having bicycles available would have made it an even more wonderful stay. Next time we'll bring our own or rent some. There is a beautifuloutdoor yard space with furniture, completely private. There were even chickens next door making for a perfect country setting for us. We loved the eclectic tasteful decorations. The vintage kitchen table and chairs were our favorite touch. The house was so clean and the kitchen completely stocked with anything you could imagine you might need. We appreciated having condiments, honey, peanut butter, coffee, and so much more provided. Donna was very responsive to our texts when we had questions. We hope to come back next year and stay longer. Dennis and JoelChampaign, Il.

Perfect spot in Sonoma County

This was a perfect spot for a family visit. Just 15 minutes from our son’s home and close to Sebastopol was very convenient. The property was very cozy and the owners do a great job of stocking the kitchen and bathroom with just about anything you’d need. Everything was clean and comfortable and the property was quiet and well kept. We’ll definitely stay again.

Great place for an extended visit

I've stayed here before and would not hesitate to stay again. This place is perfect for a short or a long visit as it is very clean, well stocked, quiet and in a great location. I especially enjoyed the fact that it is separate from the main house and is equipped with a washer and dryer.

Perfect Spot for Sonoma County Exploration

Mod Pod Lodge was the perfect spot for our anniversary trip. We wanted to explore the coast and wine country. We did it all! Sebastopol had everything we needed for food and night life - before and after a day of exploring. The rental was perfect both inside and out. Highly recommend.

Modge Podge Good Lodge!

what a great place to stay in the Sonoma area. Not only a great location but a nice plae to hang out. Private yard is a definite plus with all the plants. And you can help yourself to anything. We had grapes, herbs, peppers and a tomato. Not to mention the wonderful hosts!
